Ocean Palace Chinese Seafood Restaurant

I was told this place is good but I beg to differ. They only do take out and they said it would be 90 minutes. It was 120 minutes. And not worth the price or the wait. Dinner for 2 is 53$ and the lemon chicken tasted bitter and like the oil it was cooked in. Never going back!

Decent portions, but steep prices. Taste was good. One strange thing was that I ordered a noodle dish ahead of time and about half and hour before pick up, I was told they only had 2/3 of a portion left and I was asked if I still wanted the dish. I stumbled a little bit before asking what I would be charged and was told that it would cost 2/3 of the full price. I kept the order and it seemed fine...I’ve just never experienced this before. Buddha’s feast was good, rice noodles and beef were tasty.

Never again!! Absolute yuck, The wor wonton soup was way too salty, had barely any vegetables and only 2 little prawns for a large soup?? The spring rolls were soggy and soaked in grease..bye-bye.

Fantastic Chinese food. Order early. They get swamped. Best place south of the Fraser!

Worst customer service! I tried to support local but the guy who answers the phone is so rude and it gets worse once you show up to pick up your food. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else that cares about their customers.

Excellent fresh food, always beautifully cooked. Staff is professional and friendly. The best in south Delta.

The only reason this place is still in business is because of the absolute chokehold it has on Tsawwassen as the only Chinese Restaurant. Ordered food 4 dishes at 4:30pm when they opened. We were immediately told it would be 2 hours ridiculous and they would call us when our order was being started. We waited 2 hours and did not receive a call. When we called to check on our order, the young man on the phone told us “I don’t know how long it will be, I was yelled at for asking and told I was being annoying.” Poor guy. We drove to Ocean Palace to wait for our order and saw absolutely nobody dining in. The restaurant was empty. We asked how much longer. “10 minutes.” 25 minutes later we received our order. We ordered food at 4:30pm, didn’t receive it until 7:45pm. This place is an absolute joke, from the way they treat their employees, to the length of time it takes just to receive your order. Nobody should have to wait nearly 3.5 hours to have their order ready, especially just 4 dishes of Chinese food. Next time we are ordering from Richmond, or grabbing something from Tsawwassen Mills Mall. Without a doubt it would have been faster. I would never recommend Ocean Palace or give them my business again. STAY AWAY!

Really good sliced beef with deluxe vegetables, the asparagus was thin cooked perfectly. The breaded almond chicken was very good I received 3 full breasts worth and it tasted excellent. Hard to get through to the place but it's so good its understandable.

The number of Zero reviews for this restaurant is artificially deflating this excellent restaurant. They are service related comments - but eastern standards of service are different from the "what i want, when i want it, how i want it " mantra of the west i say this as a westerner who has traveled the east extensively. This restaurant serves up excellent food at a good price- and the demand is high - so yeah, during peak periods you're gonna have to wait. Don't like waiting? Well, Safeway sells Chinese food too. If you're expecting an "I'm a VIP, you need my business, I'm not going to pay you extra for your premium food" experience then don't go here. This restaurant serves excellent food and a great price. You're going to have to wait in line. The staff are friendly and helpful. They deliver exceptional value.
