My husband and I came here every year for a week...either here or at Wapato campground, for years and before me, he came here with his son's. The fishing is great! It was one of my husband's favorite fishing spots...so only a fitting place to say goodbye to him. We rented both trailers and two sites as several family members came too As always fishing was great! Good price for the trailers, but they need some TLC. We had no hot water, and water from bathroom sink backed up into shower, I called left a message twice AC filter needed changed two years ago..and they really should build some stairs to make it easier and safer to get inside and out..my friend actually fell, luckily only a bad bruise on her rear. The other trailer, was dusty, dirty.. obviously no one cleaned them prior to our arrival. Other than that campground is well maintained, bathrooms/showers clean and staff friendly They rent boats, motors, batteries Have a selection of fishing gear, ice and snacks available for purchase...and did I mention, the fishing is great!!! Think I did... Well worth the trip and hope to get everyone together again next year. We had a great time!
It's peaceful here, boats can be rented cheap and fishing is very popular here. Suprisingly, the bathrooms were clean, but the walls and ceiling were clearly not maintained. The most important thing to bring here is mosquito repellant, all the better if you have traps. Overall, this is a very modest place to camp with few compensations.
The grounds themselves are nice. There is a boat ramp, floating docks for fishing. Boat rentals with an without motor, although there was only one battery available when we were there so we took turns with another couple. The bathrooms are kinda trashed though, and they need to install some wind breaks between sites or something because it's so windy here that even with heavy stuff in our tent and it fully staked down we were worried about our tents blowing away. Other people did have theirs blown away while they were gone at a bar. The bathroom and the wind is why they didn't get a full 5 stars from me. I would come back again if they put in some wind breaks though.
A very small campground wedged between a busy road and a lake. Sites are very close together, under some nice trees. There is a dumpster and trash was overflowing. Much better options in the area.
Hard to find staff, spaces tight and small with no privacy. Wildlife seems to be friendly ducks waiting for you to come out of your tent. WIND, WIND, and WIND is an understatement. It destroyed multiple campsites. Host calls it the "W" word. So must be frequent. Bathrooms are under kept and disgusting! Bring your own TP.
I came here in July 2021 and camped with a group of friends! I loved it they have a cute little lake and you can rent out row boats. The Manager John was really nice. Was close to Chelan about a 10 minute drive ! Everyone was nice and respectful of your space . They have a little store on site with necessities and Bags of ice very convenient! Would come again!!
I would highly not recommend this camp ground! The camping is located right on the main road very unsafe for smaller children or children on the spectrum with autism! When I arrived there I had planned a four night to camp ground stay. By the first night it was very clear this wasn’t a right fit for our group we had a 1 yr old 3 yr old and my son who is 11 with autism. Besides this fact there was much more that was not right about staying here. We had two dogs swimming the lake as did other campers, we were told not to let our dogs swim they needed to be leashed but yet all the others dogs were ok to be off leash. This was not at all ok! The bathrooms were very unclean!!! The owner of the property decided to mow and dusted us out all our stuff and cars for a very good amount of time, shot dirt and pebbles at our cars! When I went to discuss our situation I was meet with a very rude attitude, totally Unsympathetic owner. I tried to talk to her about the situation and she was very clear that there is no refunds and that she ultimately had no excuse why our dogs were targeted and didn’t care one bit about the mower and the cars and us! As we were packing up they let there 10 or so old kid that lived there go on here four wheeler as fast as she could go past us back and forth creating a unsafe environment for our children!!!!!!! This is by far a bad camping spot!!!! I highly recommend staying away! One night and a horrible day cost me $207 dollars
My friend made reservations for herself and my family here, when we arrived and stayed the night we were unhappy with the campground and decided to we didn't want to stay the entire four days. When she talked to them about the problems with the campsite they did not offer any source of compensation and no refunds were given even though we left after one nights stay. She paid for four days for two campsites. They did not treat her with kindness.
Great campground with friendly staff. Boats available for rent at $5 an hour in a quiet and secluded lake. Originally planned to go out onto Lake Chelan, but decided against it. The lake is large enough to permit water-skiing. The campground has great sites, although I would recommend getting one not next to the road as it can get a bit loud. Nice facilities, overall great experience.
So my husband and I were supposed to stay over there for two nights, over this weekend. We went there yesterday after I spoke to the lady from the office, was telling her that we going to arrive at 7 PM so she said the office will closed and she will leave me a note with an instructions. When we arrived we couldn't find anything on the office's window so we just parked somewhere that was available. When hooked up our water the thing was broken so the water came out from our hose. Since we had issues with the water we ended up using the restroom that were so dirty. On the men restroom there was poop on the walls. HORRIBLE. Bench of mosquitoes and some other insects. We ended up leaving after less than 2 hours, parking in front of Walmart. They won't refund my deposit since it's less than 24 hours of my reservation, but only made the reservation same day I got there. Dont waste your money, it was my worst RV parking experience. Don't know why they wouldn't refund my 32 dollars and how they have such a great reviews. Stay away from here
