Kaleena Cakes

Our mother's day cake was a huge hit. Created perfectly on time, with some wonderful added touches to personalize it in the most special way. Thanks Kaleena Cakes!! We will definitely be back.

I've thought a while about writing this review. When I look back on my wedding day the cake was really the only disappointment. The issue was that the cake was only half decorated. That wouldn't have been a problem if it was against a wall but it wasn't. It was center stage and everyone saw it half decorated as they entered the reception. My photographer had to be careful with the angle while she tried to capture us cutting the cake. I also confirmed with our florist the she was never contacted to confirm the amount of flowers needed for the cake. Being that it was told to us that we couldn't have our florist decorate the cake we thought we were leaving the decorating in the hands of someone that would do the best job possible. You can see that we did have flowers left over that the florists used on the table. I wish it was communicated to me if she didn't have enough flowers and something would have been done. The cake tasted fine, no issues with that. The experience has left me thinking that our wedding wasn't a priority and that she must have had cakes she wanted to spend more time with on that day. UPDATE: Thank you for the response. I did give the contact information to both you and the florist and mentioned that either one of you needed to contact the other regarding the amount of flowers/size needed for the cake. I asked the florist if she had heard from you and she didn't. I was under the impression that at least one of you would communicate with one another. I made it clear that this needed to happen because I am neither a florist or a baker. Yes it is my florists fault for not providing the right size of flower. But... if you're in a situation that you know that your product doesn't look right I feel that you need to reach out to someone to let them know why. I would rather be aware of a situation than walk into my reception and see a half decorated cake. I will discuss this matter with the florist. Update: I contacted the florist yesterday to ask what happened. She mentioned that she emailed you and then never heard back. It seems it's now a "he said she said" situation. The results can't be changed. The take away from this experience is that I should have kept more on top of both of you to communicate with one another. I wish it had turned out differently.

Kaleena and her team made our wedding cake for our July 7 wedding. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but tried my best to explain it to her. And the cake was perfect! Exactly how I wanted it to look, and even more delicious. My guests were so impressed, and especially loved the lemon cake/cream cheese buttercream combination. Thank you so much! Ordered a gluten free, dairy free cake earlier this summer for an office birthday party. Kaleena took the allergen restrictions very seriously, and obviously takes a lot of pride in her work. The cake was decorated skillfully (and fun!) and the cake was delicious. Easy to communicate with, very worth buying from.

Kaleena and her team made the most beautiful cake for our wedding. I received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful it was. Also, super delicious!! Loved everything about this cake. Thank you Kaleena!
