Kabul Lounge

Me with my friend went to dine in. We ordered Sultani Kabab and Mix Platter. Humus was rotton, Pickes were dried and was not fresh for sure. Salad in both platter were probably from previous century. Meat of kabob was not smelling fresh and the rice was cold. After the food was served, I called him back and pointed my concerned, with his reaction we decided to leave that place without paying. After the incident I saw the reviews if this place which weren’t good and I now have reasons why this place has such reviews. Pathetic place!

It's nice that they are open until 4am every night. However, there's no consistency in the food they serve. The quality is definitely very hit and miss. The rice is always so cold and the kabobs can be warmer as well. We have also ordered their chenjeh and it was honestly so burnt it tasted like we were eating charcoal. Their house breads, the ones they actually make they are AMAZING! Their shishas are good and they have a variety of flavors. Also, because the servers don't write down your orders, they usually forget to bring certain parts of the order.

If I could rate this place no stars i would. Don't go here it is such a shady place it is just allowed to be open for people to drink and party even though it has no liquor license, people bring their own liquor here the cops are at this place evey night and I mean every night, people are fighting in the streets and there are shootings, they party in the alley behind it till 6 every morning, I have never heard or seen such a bad place ever in my life, The residents that live in and around this place are wanting this business shut down for good. The amount of fake reviews just to hide the fact that this place is DANGEROUS shows, terrified local residents are awakened every night in the surrounding buildings because of this place, Be Wary and don't visit at night, unless you want to be attacked.

I live above this place and about a year ago it WAS shut down temporarily by the city. I don’t know how they managed to get it up to par and reopen. But it’s only a party place. People go there to party until 5/6 in the morning. Yelling and blasting music all night. Just the complete lack of respect they have for their neighbours is disgusting

We ordered through DoorDash at past midnight and the chicken shawarma had beef in it the meat is all dried out and crusty and terrible. And then the ginger ale we ordered wasn’t delivered. Wow what is this highway robbery??? Thanks so much our craving is gone and we’re rather disgusted!

I have eaten at quite a few Afghan restaurants all over Canada, so trust me when I say this, I have not tasted better kababs. Their garlic and hummus have a delicious Afghan touch. The DJ here has a great music taste making the weekend nights absolutely lit. The service is top notch. Visited with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for some authentic Afghan Cuisine and a shisha lounge to chill at, you’ve come to the right place.

This is not a representation of kabul. You got no life rejects drinking and smoking till sunrise. No shame whatsoever for whoever the owner is.

Went here last evening because it was late at night and nothing else was open. In photos, their butter chicken platter was priced at $10.99. In person, the sign said $11.95. When the cashier rang up my order, he charged $18.00 +gst. I asked him why it was so much higher than the big white sign right behind him. He was polite but his response was ridiculous, "oh sorry, those are old prices. That sign is 8 years old, we've been meaning to update it." What the heck. You saw me looking at the sign which included menu items & their prices then didn't say anything until I already ordered and was about to pay? I told him he could easily cross off the prices or add a strip of paper + clear tape to add the current prices, for which he just sortof acknowledged what I was saying but didn't say he'll do it. I'm not upset at the cashier - he was just doing his job. But I did find the business and the owner to be completely dishonest. Food was okay but as a matter of principal I will never order from here again.
