Just Like Mom's Bakery

I think this is a great little hidden gem bakery. We bought some butter tarts and cookies plus a few things to bake at home apple pie and shepherd’s pie. We haven’t tried everything but what we’ve eaten so far is great. Self-serve set-up, take cash.

First time was great. Best lemon meringue pie I had eaten in a very long time. We ordered another one next trip to the island. They gave it away to another customer by mistake. Apologized and promised to bake us a replacement for the next day. When we arrived to pick it up, we were told they had given that one to another customer as well. Great pie, poor service, I will not be coming back.

Visited on Summer, cute lovely place with lots of treat!!! Kids and the rest of the family love the cakes here.

We’ve been there several times. All the treats are great. My wife is a fan/devote of all things lemon and the lemon meringue pie from Moms is the best dessert she’s ever had. The meringue is exquisite and the crust is to die for If you are in the area definitely stop in you will not regret it.

My husband and I stopped in today, and loved every single aspect of this cute little shop. Little doesn't mean small selection, we were surprised at how many things are offered! Currently eating a ginger dunker and it is sooooo good. Highly recommend. Oh and the gentleman who assisted us was incredibly charming and friendly.

A few weeks ago check news promoted this bakery . We could not wait to visit the bakery on our up coming trip to the island . We met the owner stocking with fresh baking when we got there . He was very pleasant . His wife came on the intercom and was very nice and helpful. We were given a menu of their products and suggested we call and order so we won’t be disappointed not being able to buy what we wanted . We did purchase a lemon pie . Omg it was the best we have had . We will be coming back for sure on future trips to the island .

Left with a handful of goodies and they were all finished before we got home! This is a great place and all the goods are home made! There's a fridge full of take home soup and pies and cakes! Also - it's all on a honor system service. Pick what you want and pay, make your own change from the box.

Amazing little bakery just off the side of the highway, reasonable prices and a friendly face. Self serve, so take cash but stop at the house as they do take credit and debit if they're around.

Fantastic pie and superb customer service. I ordered my mom's favourite pie lemon meringue for her birthday and it was amazing. My mom said it was by far the best she'd ever had. The lemon was very flavourful with just the right amount of tang, the meringue perfect and the pie crust buttery and flakey. I must admit I was a terrible customer because I needed the pie by Sunday and only discovered the business on Friday so not very fair to them but they still came through for me. Will definitely order baked goods from them again but will give them more notice.
