Pleasant experience. Enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Friendly staff. Food was well presented and in ample quantity. Everything tasted excellent. From the appetizers to the main. We ordered the BBQ platter and friend chicken with fries. Fries were frozen packed so a bit disappointing since everything else was freshly made. I really wish we could have ordered their fish but it turns out it’s made to order only. Should mention that on the menu. Other than that great experience. Will be coming back for the fish though

Yes, it feels a little dated, but that what adds to the charm. The ambiance of the place takes you on a trip. The chandeliers, the fire with fish being smokes all around it, freshness of the food! It definitely is a haven for non vegetarians. Being a vegetarian, I didn't have too many options, but whatever we had was crazy good!

Very pleased with the dinning experience here. The atmosphere and decoration was very warm, welcoming, and in sync with the food style. The food was excellent, even though it’s a little bit more expensive than the competition, the portion size and the restaurant experience itself make it worth it. Price to food value is very fair. They even offered a complimentary tea at the end of our stay which was a nice touch to end the experience. Will definitely come back again and I would recommend it for anyone looking to have quality middle eastern food. The only small thing that I would change is that I would’ve appreciated if our soft drinks were served with a glass instead of just the can itself, as its a better presentation for a restaurant experience.

Absolutely wonderful dinner. Service was Impeccable thanks to our server Sara. She recommended a mix platter as this our first time. mouthwatering meat, fattoush salad, and appetizer mix. So glad we had the opportunity to try as I’m from Waterloo. Definitely recommend

this place was great! went there in 2019, not sure how they’re doing right now since the pandemic but when i went there, the food was delicious and service was excellent! the servings for the food was huge too so you’re definitely not wasting any buck here. would totally recommend this place when you’re around the area :

If you want to enjoy traditional tasty and fresh Middle Eastern food this is your restaurant. Excellent decor will welcome you with lots of nice sitting space and of course surprises you with quality food. Kebabs and appetizers were out of ordinary delicious.

Delicious and tasty.. best Iraqi food. Recently, were somewhat slow in service, but I still choose the 5 stars. It’s worth the wait!

The food was just amazing. So yummy The positions were a bit weird though. They give you a reasonable amount of the main item, whatever it might me be, but way too much stuff on the side. Most of rice/bread went to waste. Our server was very nice but a little inattentive. She kept disappearing and we'd have to ask the manager to find her for us. Overall, a very nice place for a date night or even a small group of friends.

I literally never leave bad reviews but… what the hell has happened to this restaurant? We went on a Thursday, it was not busy at all, yet the service was horrible. Took forever to get our food, we asked for a fork like 5 times and my husband ended up getting up and finding a fork. The portion sizes have also decreased significantly! Here is a picture of the “quzi” which came with plain white rice who serves quzi with plain rice?! and the piece of meat was tiny. It used to be a good sized lamb shank but not anymore. $30 for this sad meal. I’m only giving two stars because the decor is very pretty. But don’t go for the food or service. It used to be great, we came regularly and brought any friends who visited from out of town, but never again. So disappointing.

Very average food. Most of the food was almost served cold. No taste in bbq platter and lamb shank. Restaurant ambiance is nice however food was not worth it.
