Jokbal Night Market

Really loved the veggie noodles and half original half spicy - was pretty spicy - jokbal pig trotters here. Side dishes were very fresh and tasty. The servers were very kind too and helped us mix the noodles. Only down side was that the free soup was too salty and tasted like ramen soup. Definitely would recommend coming here.Food: 5/5

A good amount of food for the price you pay. An excellent value proposition for a night out for some drinks with friends. Conveniently located near Sheppard station, there is a quiet pay parking option around the corner in the nearby office block. The meat was very soft and slightly chewy in that gelatinous melt-in-your-mouth way that all Jokbal lovers will know. The spicy Jokbal I found a bit bland. Not enough sweetness but your mileage will vary. The kimchi cheese pancake/pizza monstrosity was where they lost me. The cheese was too overwhelming and the sourness and crunch from the kimchi was all but drowned out. Service was excellent, but the menu was confusing. Some prices were wrong, and some menu options could be found digitally but were also missing and had to be found in the paper menu but also cross referenced with the above-counter menus. Gotta get that sorted out sooner rather than later.

It was amazing family friend Christmas dinner! Original pork was juicy and soft. The spicy pork was my favorite!!!! Side unspicy Kimchi which comes with jokbal for free was good combination with spicy pork! I will definitely go back and cannot wait to open the dine in!!

Good year start with perfect menu. We ordered original and spicy one with special sauce. Absolutely delicious especially paired with their veggie noodle. I didn't expect much as most restaurants change tastez when they open in Canada, but here! all orderes we made were same as when I visited in Korea. I highly recommend this place. Two thumbs up!!

Ended up in the area, looked up nearest food late and there was Jokbal thats open till 1am! perfect. We went and I acted like thr clumbsy walk in, asked for take out and it may have gotten a little confusing, but eventually we got seated. The vibe is on point, the kpop was going hard. Service was on point as well, nothing to really complain about, they store the napkins inside the table in a drawer which is great and leaves more table space to just eat.

Hands down this is now one of my go-to korean restaurant. The pork meat was done right my entire family devoured it. Def going back next weekend to try out their spicy jokmal. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5

The food was so good. Highly recommended. Half Original & Half Spicy Jokbal: Jokbal was flavourful and tender. It went well with side dishesradish kimchi&wimhite kimchi. Spicy jokbal was good too. it was a bit spicy, but if you are a spicy food person. You should try this one.

I was walking my dog past the restaurant one night and was intrigued by the delicious aromas that were wafting to the sidewalk. Ate at the restaurant the next day and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was. I tried the Spicy BBQ Jokbal which had great flavour and spice to it. The Chive Pancake with Seafood was probably the best Korean pancake I've ever had never been to Korea though!. It seems like a family owned business and feels like you're getting a home cooked meal. A few notes: - they serve the side dishes with the main meal would have liked it beforehand but it was nice to have cut the savouriness of the main meal! - they're only open for dinner - when they say spicy, they mean spicy! I really enjoyed it but just be prepared for some fire 100% would recommend and 100% will be back to try more dishes soon.

Highly recommend going here if you want legit Jokbal. An all-in-all SUPERB experience. Tried their spicy jokbal and Jokmahawk for the first time and it completely exceeded my expectations!
