Johnny Carino's

I think of a more raw version of Olive Garden in a good way. I really enjoyed the pasta that had a little spice inside which made it incredible. The fresh made bread they give out before your meal great as well. Inside it is pretty dark and the seating I didn't enjoy in particular the benches. Otherwise I really enjoyed my meal and they Togo box I brought home.

This was my first time going to Johnny Carino's and the food was spectacular. I had grilled salmon over noodles. The salmon was cooked just right and the noodles as well. The portion size was perfect for me. I was very satisfied with the food. The service was a little slow. The waitress forgot to get our table an extra set of silverware but I wasn't really bothered. All in all, the food was amazing and the service was good.

Last night was our first time at Johnny Carino's. We had about a 10 minute wait around 7pm. The food was fantastic. We ordered a family platter for the two of us. We ate till we were full and there was plenty to take home, not to mention the all you can eat salad and Italian bread. Our server, Mindy, was wonderful. Almost every time she came to the table we asked for something -more salad, advice, etc. - and she was always helpful and didn't get frustrated that we were needy customers. When she brought me another water, she remembered that I had originally ordered it with no ice and a lime....something servers almost always forget when I go out. Definitely deserves 5 stars for food and service.

Love the food and the atmosphere. You can't beat the value of their Monday night special. Robert is the best server ever!! They have amazing bread with olive oil and roasted garlic. I think it's the best Italian in town. It gets busy on weekends but they move you through pretty quick.

I used to really like Carino's, but the last couple times I've been less impressed. It's still pretty good, but this last time the service was a little slow and some of the food came out cool. The server was very personable and gave us an unsolicited discount though so that helped.
