The Lake park is huge and beautiful. Many ducks and swans can be found around the lake. It's a delight to watch them bury their head into the ground to find worms. They get comfortable with humans and can approach. The trees in the park are lovely too.
Serene and beautiful in winter time. The lake’s surface became thin ice. Also you can see plenty of birds walking on the ice while others enjoy swimming in water. The weather was not that cold, about 1 degree on December. I only dropped by but took more time than expected. Worth for refreshment.
There is a beautiful park!! I feel always confortable when I walk around here. There are many animals.squirrels, canada goose, a lot of birdsMany people walk their dogs, walk, run or exercise. It is very pleasant to be in this park and you will lose track of time.
I’ve been coming to Trout Lake since I was a little blood in the 1980s. The trees were saplings then and now they proved lovely shade. A great place to watch the sun rise in the morning. I only wish they could daylight some of the streams that feed and drain the lake.
A really nice city park with lake and mountain view at the north. It's good for all season. Either you only want a quiet place to stroll around or bring your family. Good for kids too. There are a beach for swimming in summer. It's closed to the community centre with lot of parking.
Stunning view! It was amazing that there's a lake in the middle of the city! As I just moved from MB to BC and accidentally found this place on my way home from downtown Vancouver to New Westminster it was a nice place!
LOVE this park. It feels like you're outside the city while in the middle of Vancouver. It has 2 playgrounds, 2 beaches, picnic tables, 2 baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, concessions stand, and so much more. The trail is not too long but it's kids and pets and bike friendly. You can have bbq and picnic in summer and snow sledding in winter. It's super fun!
Small pond in center of neighborhood park. Restrooms, ballpark, Saturday farmers market and multiple walking paths in this neighborhood park. Limited parking in the adjacent neighborhoods. Watch for signs that allow resident permit parking only.
A beautiful park , I love going in the fall season very near to the Nanaimo metro station. For more check @Myminionvoice
It's a very popular Eastside park. Very nice to walk around the lake. Beautiful fall colors if you come to visit around October time. It also has a dog park near the water. Community centre is just in the same location and parking is available.
