It is nice, clean, and spacious park that is near my house. I love the kid's playground, and picnic area but not the restrooms. Homeless people use restrooms to use drugs, so it doesn't look safe to get in. More importantly, they also have a spray area, and I cannot wait to see it works in the summer.
New to the neighborhood & park is walking distance so we frequent daily. Small park w spray area. Bathrooms are maintained daily BUT the local homeless always turn it into a cesspool. Some less than desirable characters always near by but it's not the park's fault. It's a shady area. Small community garden attached. Small picnic area. Decent park for what it is. We make the most of it. :
love this park. almost go there every day.
This is the coolest little park ever love it here
Great park for all ages. It has two different park structures for ages 2-5 and ages 5-12. I love that it has a tire swing. It also has regular swings too. There is this fun umbrella like structure that spins around when you hang onto it. During the summer, you can play in the water fountain area. There are two shelters for families who want to barbecue. Make sure you reserve a spot during the summer weekends, otherwise it's first-come first-served. There is also a big grassy area adjacent to the park, great for picnickers. There is only street parking but it is easy to find since it's located across a nursing home.
Everything is great except for the big slide. The hole in the center of the platform is very dangerous for little ones. I barely grabbed a one year old not minewho almost fell through. Yes the parent was right there also. Scary moment but ended with no harm done except a shocked baby and a grateful dad.
Definitely a play-place park, not one where you'd go to sit and relax. I was looking for a table to sit at while I got a little work done between meetings but there wasn't one in the whole place. So, go have a picnic, play Frisbee, or bring the little ones to the play area for some toys, just don't expect to be able to sit down and have a meal etc.
My Mother used to live across the street and when I would stay nights at her place I always came and sat in this park. My Mother passed away last October in her home and I was with her when she passed. I sit in the park and reflect over our last times
We had are gathering after my dads funeral it was raining but we were covered it was a good place
Loved it i parked right of the street and watched boys play had a spray area that was clean and plenty to do in a decsent size park all children play areas was seperated but not to far apart giving you a good view
