Disappointing experience at this location ranging from dark fries, watching food be brought in by cook from his Mercedes SUV sitting in parking lot for a while, cook not wearing mask properly in kitchen pulled down to chin, and washroom in disrepair. Nice location and friendly service staff. Little slow when only less then 5 tables in place with customers
This will be the last time we eat from here. Out of the last 3 times we have had their food, the fish was good only one time. Every single time the fries have been AWFUL. I dont know what they do to a potato, but it should be a crime. They are dry, like sawdust. I highly suspect they just reheat them in the microwave which just makes them starchy and inedible. The fish is hit and miss, again sometimes tasting like they just reheated the previous nights leftovers. They all seem like lovely people, but the food is just not worth it.
What happened to getting some fish and chips?! Ordered take out and received a paltry portion of fries and a 2 piece???? More like a handful of fries, and one piece of fish cut in 2. Portion sizes are pathetic and I won’t be back! 2 THUMBS DOWN!!! Joey’s, YOU SHOULD BE BETTER!! Shame on you Crowfoot.
I ordered fish and chips 2 pieces on Feb 2 @ 6:30 for pickup and was told ready in 10. The food was ready in exactly 10 min the worker was really nice and friendly! When I got home I was very impressed with the portioning they didn’t cheap out at all. The food was amazing and I had enough sauce, vinegar and ketchup! Thank you for the fabulous service, portioning and common sense!! Will definitely be coming back.
It's ok if your in a hurry for fish n chips. How about that Gravy.......with
Their fresh fish tacos are so yummy. I regret i didn’t try it this time. That’s the only best thing they have on their menu. really filling and price is reasonable too.
Very disappointing experience. The place is run down. The fish in the fish and chips look like fish nugget. The batter is thicker than the meat. The crew forgot to bring us any utencils till we asked. We wont come back anymore.
I read mixed reviews about the food but I was craving fish and chips for some strange reason unknown to me. I went on the all you can eat fish night and despite not being super hungry I went with the cheap fish. It was well cooked and not heavily battered or excessively greasy, the fries were nicely cooked too. The service was prompt and my waiter was friendly. I would say 4.5 out of five but that is not an option.
Delicious Halibut meal Halibut was fresh and made crispy with fresh fries and coleslaw. The customer service was very good, friendly staff. I would definitely go again.
3 huge pollock tartar for each lots of fries personal friendly service Worth the drive and short wait Parking: Close accessible
