Five Guys

I like five guys. The concept and burgers are simple and that's all I want. Fries are also good and what's not to like about free peanuts? Good, fast and convenient burgers cooked fresh to order are hard to beat.

Arrived at 11:00 AM and the door was locked. The sign on the door indicates hours of operation 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. We looked through the window and could not see anyone. We chatted with another customer waiting patiently at the front door. At approximately 11:12 AM a staff member opened the front door half way and said to us that there was no staff there as of yet? What? We then went back to our car and waited. We kept watching the time and couldn't believe what was happening. We then saw someone walk up to the side door and was let in by the staff member who had talked to us. The open sign then came on and the front door finally opened at the exact time of 11:15 AM. My nephew and I went in and ordered a burger and fries.... There was no "sorry" said to us for the wait outside. The burger wasn't that great and the fries were OK and yes, EXPENSIVE.... $15.62 for a burger and fries and we didn't order a drink. We left in disbelief. I called the Head Office to let them know about our experience and the agent was shocked and horrified. The Head Office agent did indicate to me that the owner would be notified. The owner called me in the evening and was babbling on about being on "mobile" time....he didn't let me speak, was talking over me and was rude. I told the owner that a staff member opened the front door to tell us that no one was there yet and the owner kept on talking about the "mobile" time. I then said that the sign on the front door should state 11:07 AM opening time or 11:15 AM....the owner didn't seem to care and kept on babbling and would not allow me to speak. I told him that I won't ever be going back to his establishment and he still kept on rambling on talking over me...extremely rude and unprofessional. I won't be going back and will tell everyone about our bad experience at this establishment.

Absolutely awful. After having friends recommend trying this place for years I finally broke down and tried it. A decision I immediately began regretting from the first 2 minutes in the store. The place was empty except for 2 tables. Took 5 minutes to be acknowledged then while I was placing my order I had to constantly repeat myself because the young man taking my order wasn't paying attention as he was focused on what his buddy was doing behind him. Then the food... Took 25 minutes! Mine was the only order up. Miraculously, my order was correct. But the food was awful. Slimy. Soggy. Tasted weird, like it was "off". The bun was wet. The burger was very sloppily put together before being wrapped up. Most of the fries were okay, the rest were smashed in the bottom of the bag. I'm not sure why I've heard people sing praises about this place. I'll never go back or send anyone I know there. Its a shame.

This place is awesome... We don't come here too often, but when we do, we never have a bad experience. Lots of room, relatively clean and the burgers are excellent.... Ps if you order fries, you better like them because they always give you more than you can eat!

This is the best place for a burger and fries in this area. The fries are cooked in peanut oil and a little baccon cheeseburger is all you need and you get to pick your toppings at no extra charge. They always give you more fries then you need. It is by far our favorite place to go for a burger.
