We've been going here annually since the day the original owner opened. Great spot with terrific view and restful ambience. The deck is amazing. Current owners are very pleasant and welcoming. Menu is varied with something for everyone. Meals this year were excellent. The service was attentive and caring. Always an enjoyable experience. A quality place! Highly recommended.

Every time I go there the waitr3ss is so polite and sweet . The food has generous portions and price is on par . The food is amazing. I have tried most of the menu and it's all very delicious especially the prime rib omg . Ignore other posts about racism or bad experience cuz it ain't true . This place has great atmosphere and great views in a huge log cabin. Take my word for it . This place is worth the stop

One of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had. The waitress was the saddest excuse for a professional that I’ve ever encountered, my 14 year old works at one of the highest rated restaurants in the south Okanagan and could teach her a thing or two about customer service and proper COVID protocols. We even have video of her lecturing my daughter about her behavior when her’s was by far worse. The coffee was gross, the food was Lukewarm at best and it is by no means a family friendly restaurant.

Not a family-friendly restaurant. Despite the name on the sign my family came to the restaurant at 3 in the afternoon with 20 people. We had just laid my brother's Ashes to rest and we're looking for a place to share a small meal and drinks. We were very happy to see the sign for the restaurant being unfamiliar with the area. Some of our family are are of Aboriginal descent. When we walked into this restaurant we were greeted very rudely. The lady who said she was the manager said there was no way she could serve us given that she had reservations for dinner. Again it was 3 in the afternoon and she had two customers in the entire restaurant. She then suggested that we go to the gas station and get a hot dog. I suspect she perhaps thought we couldn't afford her family restaurant. Most of us could buy it. She then ushered three 16 year olds and an 11 year old boy away from the bathroom stating she did not have the capacity for them again referring to the gas station. She actually asked people that were in the bathroom to leave both Male and female. Then there was a lot more to say on her part defending her position saying if you don't have a reservation how can you expect to have 20 people come in in the restaurant? She actually followed us right out the door as indicated in the picture below. Once again I refer to my original point this is not a family restaurant she is not a family person as a matter of fact I think she is a racist. I do not say those words lightly nor will you find any other negative reviews in my profile I just couldn't leave this unanswered.

What a wonderful restaurant. My family and I shared numerous items on the menu and we enjoyed every single one. The decor inside is really nice too. Great place!

We have had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. MY other half wanted to take me for a nice cocktail for mothers day and an appy on the deck. He went in to ask if we could do that. the owner said we are not serving food untill 5.. so he said well we will just have a cocktail on your deck and then go get some food somewhere else! it was no big deal we just wanted to have a nice mothers day moment. she said well no I've just decided my establishment is CLOSED. VERY RUDE! couldn't believe the treatment we received! we have been in the food industry all of our lives! BOONDOCKS IN THE CARIBOO IS THE PLACE TO GO. AWESOME FOOD. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AND GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!!

We went for dinner tonight and as always the meals were delicious. The lasagna with ceasar salad and garlic toast was great Had to take some home because I couldn't eat all of it but will be heating it up shortly lol. Thank you Debbie for your hospitality and yummy food

Went there on Friday, requesting reservation for Sunday. The lady said she’d call me and let me know if they couldn’t accommodate us. No call, so on Sunday we headed there at 5:40 pm. The sign had been changed from open Wed to Sun, to say open Wed to Sat. Doors were locked. No call telling us no, we have decided to be closed Sunday. Rude and inconsiderate in my opinion.

Went for a private event. Its super cute with all the plants and hand carved wood. Drinks were good! Service great. Very clean. Didnt order food.

this restaurant is absolutely amazing super friendly waitress, foods great, atmosphere is great, views are great, prices are good, minimal waiting for food
