Joey's Fish Shack

Restaurant is clean and the manager is really friendly & helpful with the menu. Eight of us ate here for dinner. We ordered haddock fish n chips, calamari & fish tacos! All food that we ordered in our opinion were very good, tasty, cooked perfectly, good portions & reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place and we will be back!! On Tuesdays is all you can eat fish n chips; Wednesdays $10.75 fish n chips and Thursday is all you can eat fish tacos :. What are you waiting for... try this place!!!

More of a 3.75-4 star only because of 2 things letting the meal down but will definitely be ordering from here again. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, legendary fish sandwich Joeys famous fish & the Joeys famous calamari Cajun Chips & chicken were sadly over fried. Had to pull some of the skin off as was too crunchy… but was still great and enjoyed every bite of the burgers and Cajun Calamari. Really glad I tried this and hopefully be back as soon as I get that fish n chips craving.

This place has a great atmosphere! I came here for lunch. They had an option of food if you’re vegetarian, vegan, or if you love fish this is the place to go. Friendly people clean amenities. Great people they have a lot of beverages such as coffee, water, different beers to try you name it. They have great fish for those who love fish . But they also catered to vegetarian and vegan lovers as well. Please come here try this place out you will not be disappointed. Also the fries are delicious. Your family and friends will love it here it’s affordable as well great place to have a birthday party or just hanging out with friends . Awesome experience at this location of Joey's Only Seafood. We really liked the updated decor and ambiance that this location offers. The staff were friendly and attentive during our whole visit. Portions were generous and plating looked awesome. Parking is available in back or on street on 7 ave.

Came for all you can eat shrimp and fish. Was great, ate a ton of Cajun shrimp. Fish was like cod cape hake and the garlic shrimp was good too. $28 for the deal until end of 2022. Will be back before then. Good, friendly service!

Amazing cuisine, especially the fish. Based only on the taste, I would give it a recommendation, moreover the fries which was really awesome especially for vegetarian people and the server and staff was really good Especially, Amandeep she was server today and provided good service

My wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner here yesterday. The server provided great service and was attentive to our dining needs. The manager even came by our table to check that our dining experience was good. We had fish and chips and overall the service was great, the quality plus portion of the food was great, the price was great and the dining area was clean. I would highly recommend dining at this Joey's Fish Shack location. We will definitely return to dine here again. Parking: There is plenty of free 2 hour parking on the side street just around the corner from the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible.

Had two fish and chips with shrimp combo. Excellent value for the money. Easily the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Fries alone were a 8.5/10; really good but nothing special. Gravy was above average as well. Fish was a 10/10, light very crispy batter that wasn’t too oily. It’s hard to find a good fish and chips that can accomplish that. The fish was absolutely perfect. The shrimp really surprised me, it was absolutely amazing and would order it again, tasted very fresh. The service was awesome, super helpful, kind, and always tended to drinks. If you’re looking for a perfect fish and chips place in Calgary, this is it.

Drive by this place alot, was time to give it a shot. At the time I walked in, it wasn't too busy - wonder if it's popular?! I had the fish burger pollock with fries. Was really good!!! Nice stack of fish, tasty batter, good flavor and fixings were also nice. Service was friendly & good but only a few tables at the time... See you guys again! I never give a 5 star at first tries.. just because it sometimes fails to be consistent.
