Alright, I will have to say that the experience that my wife and I got was better than our experience at Teatro.nMy wife and I came last minute due to a previous reservation being canceled at Double Zero, who closed themselves off early in the night, but that’s not the point here, the point is that Joey Chinook took us in without a reservation and still made the night alright. The food, the atmosphere, and some of the staff I’m talking about you Daniel are a few good examples of what a restaurant should be doing.nnThe only thing I can say about the food is that it was well seasoned and delicious. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for a good dish for a special occasion. My wife and I had the Joey classic steak entrée with the molten lava cake dessert, though the one thing I’d doc from it was the confusion with the dietary restriction, but I’d say they made a good save on that part. The final point will be an amalgamation of the atmosphere and the service.nnI’ll get the point out of the way, please make sure your female staff have more appropriate attire on due to the case that it makes both parties more comfortable, no one wants to see any inappropriate areas of your female staff while they’re trying to eat; other than that, Daniel did an amazing job as our server, and the fact that the restaurant even accommodated that is great for a last second reservation. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming, especially when you’re in the booth seats, the lights weren’t too bright nor dim, you could even have a normal conversation without having to raise your voice. A con to mention is the stairs to the bathroom: of you have any knee, back, or wheelchair the bathrooms are kinda of a no go, but at least the restrooms were clean.nnMy final impression, I would recommend Joey Chinook to anyone I know because the food and atmosphere are what make the experience great, oh, and make sure you get the serve Daniel because you made the night better, Daniel, cheers to you man. The food got the wife approval of, “The food is really good,” so I say that’s a big win my books. I’ll include some photos of the night.

Nella elevated our entire dining experience at Joey Chinook with her exceptional and attentive service. She was consistently thoughtful, professional, and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was outstanding—the steak was perfectly prepared, the salmon was tender and succulent, and the apple pie with maple ice cream was a superb finish to the meal. The combination of warm hospitality and excellent dishes made for a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit.

Went here last night for my birthday dinner and had such a great experience. My server was Julia and her service was great, super friendly and so nice. She had some great recommendations I got the chicken Parmesan and it was so delicious also very filling. Afterward she got me a birthday dessert, the crème brûlée cheesecake which was so good. Never came here before but was a great way to end my birthday and can’t wait to be back.

So delicious — hands down the best salmon in the city.nnThe place was quite busy, but we had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait.
