1600 World Bier Haus Restaurant & Lounge

One of the best places to grab a drink in the city. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, but also have fun with what they're doing. The bartenders (Max, Joe, and Matt just to name a few) all are expert servers and hilarious conversationalists. The menu is diverse and delicious - whether you're looking for a quick bite or a longer dinner, they've got you covered. The beer menu has something for everyone, and almost all of it is on tap. Can't recommend this place enough if you need somewhere to go hang out!

Love the Steak Cobb salad! I've always found the service to be very quick and attentive. I've also had the Word Haus burger, which is very good. They also have great mushroom soup!

3rd time here and 3rd time disappointed. Our waitress appeared to have an attitude when first coming up to our table right from the get go. Not even 1 smile, something so simple that could have changed a bit of the disappointing experience. It took forever to bring out wings (which were not the best wings but not the worst) almost 1/2 hour for the 2nd of wings my husband ordered) and it wasn't even busy. Was also told since it was wing night we had to purchase a beverage with each order of wings. Really? My children don't drink pop (or any sugar drinks), well, she said then just don't drink it or let someone else drink it? Wow, wasteful too. It's not like this was a 5 cent wing night, then maybe I could understand this 'rule' (if even legal?) Perhaps I would've ordered more food to go with my wings which would have covered more than the price of the pop for the 2 minors if we weren't told this was mandatory.(Table of 6 people total with 4 adults) They lose out big time with that rule, that just sounds desperate to me. I also find their prices on the menu on the high end as well. I too saw the young manager chilling and talking with the same couple at the bar a good portion of the entire time we were there, oh, he actually sat a couple of cute girls when they walked in but not much more work than that considering his position. This would be a fantastic place for an episode of Undercover Boss to see how poorly this place is truly run (I know I'm not the only one, hence gave it 2 more chances but to no avail.)
