Love the fried Ponza Rottas aka fried calzones. Cheese bread was good too. Order ahead if you don't want a long wait. Will be back soon.
At first glance it's a true dive. Right when we walked in we were greeted and our orders taken. Food wait was 25 minutes. I got the deluxe ponza no olives. It was amazing to say the least and the man behind the counter was very courteous.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! Service, and food was wrong. Called ahead for pick up, waited a half hour went up there and they were all cuddled in the back room trying to figure out who's food was who's. After another 20 mins of waiting, and absolutely NO APOLOGY from anyone. We expect there to be a wait. They tore all of them open to see what was in them. And didn't even get what we ordered aside from the sides. We expressed why we were upset and looked at the food and saw that it was torn open and never even said "im sorry". The cashier rolled her eyes and didn't have a care in the world, it was just disrespectful and rude. I will personally never be going there again, and it's really sad that a waukesha staple has been going down hill, and continues to get worse.
The company I work for ordered a ton of ponza rotta’s for lunch today! This was the first time I’ve ever had them! They were amazing. I got the deluxe, I would totally get it again. Keep up the good work guys!
I normally order ponza’s from this place but I decided to be a little adventurous and try something new. I have to say, this is the best burger I have ever had! It was very well made. The friend raviolis are dangerously delicious, wow!
I believe most people just go here for the specialty item, the ponzarotti. you can buy them locally in the frozen food section I believe, at least you could a few years ago, but they do not match the freshness of these delicious treats. I suggest getting double-toppings of everything if you're hungry, and if you're not do it anyways and save half of it for another meal. they used to taste like they were more deep fried or something maybe they're making them healthier. it doesn't matter because they enjoyably taste unhealthy but I don't think they are. I'd like to review some other items but it's been so long since I've had anything else but that item that I don't remember what they even taste like. I got carryout for workmate and I and the guy even turned his back so as to not pressure me into tipping him on my credit card which I did anyways. hey man you guys deserve it. napkins and plastic utensils are well stocked next to the counter and are not the cheap kind.
Order ahead it's a popular place for the loçals. The Ponza big pizza pocket is amazing made fresh and deep fried it will keep you coming back for more. I've been coming here for decades if you haven't tried it yet it's a must try you will be back. Kid-friendliness: Yes
My husband had gotten the pozaratta and brought it back home with him. When he went to eat it there was just a little bit of meat inside. He checked the bottom of it and there was a good size whole in it like all the filling went into the fryer. Also I had what people call a double cheeseburger and it was the worst burger I have ever had in my life. First time going here won't be going back.
Stopped into Jimmy John's for dinner Saturday evening around 5:00 p.m.. They were very busy and a nice gentleman informed as it would be an hour and 20 minute wait. We ordered 3 ponzaratta's, paid for them, and said we would be back. When we came back, we only had to wait about 5 minutes and our food was ready. While the food was very good, our order was incorrect. We had ordered two pepperoni and one cheese panza. We received two panzas with sausage and olives and one sausage panza. Given that it was an hour and 20 minutes to get that order, we were not about to go back up to get a corrected order. We will definitely go back as the food is good. We will just go on an off time
The birthplace of Ponza red, the minored deck type in Magic the Gathering. The Grotto offers the Ponzeratta, essentially a giant pizza pocket stuffed with delicious pizza toppings and cooked to perfection! The perfect unhealthy pile of delicious grease to hit the spot just right.
