As a young early 20's patient with a circular rash visible without removing my shirt, Dr. Jenkins had me take my shirt off and stared at me for a about 3 minutes making me feel very violated because I knew he could see many of the lesions without my needing to remove my shirt. I left the office feeling angry and upset . I will never see this unprofessional Dr. again. Now as a RN, I know the rash he diagnosed me with has a heralding spot which was clearly visible with just moving my shirt down in the front only about an inch.
The doctor was professional and knew his field and answered my questions. I needed his care and was given prompt, efficient service. On the other hand, bedside manner is lacking but I would much rather have a doctor that is knowledgeable.
