Jeannie's Diner

Now this is a real diner! Great interior, friendly, if overworked staff, cool t-shirts and some of the best diner fare I have had in a long time. Try the corned beef omelette. Made with real corned beef, real potatoes and cooked by a real person. No canned stuff allowed! The biscuits and gravy were heavenly, with light, fluffy biscuits and hearty, but not too salty gravy. And decent coffee for less than a buck. Worth the drive from the expressway. Pass up the chain places for real food.

Bathroom is rundown. Needs updated. Ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and hash browns and a coke. $9.15. Charged me $4.75 for the sandwich, chips and pickle spear even tho I specifically stated I did not want them. Menu states you can upgrade to fries for $1 something more. Hash browns were $2.15 additional and $1.75 for a coke.i was told Hash browns cost more. Ok, so why did you waste chips and pickle? I could have got a burger, salad and soup for the same price. The waitress was friendly but the cashier..............

Great food and prices. Old building that is well kept but not modernized with drop ceiling and dry wall. Love the interior. Only one small toilet for all customers so plan ahead.

Awesome place to bring the kids, they always love the train. Good prices and good portions. Friendly wait staff. Only complaint is they end up packed on weekends.

OMG! I had the most delicious lunch today at Jeannie's! The best homemade chicken noodle soup I've EVER had - right down to the homemade noodles! And the BLT on flatbread was different and delicious! I'll be back!
