If you looking for a delicious home made food and wonderful atmosphere you must come to try it. I had the Hamburger Steak… two juicy 6oz steaks with onion and gravy! Anne was the kind lady was serviced me and my family I will back more and more times. You can park your car in front of the restaurant.

Wow. What fantastic food!!! Had the fish and chips, turkey dinner, and turkey clubhouse. Hot well made fresh food. Tony, our server was very nice and accommodating!!! Drinks were fresh and cold too! If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to eat with large portions, and tasty home cooked food this is the place to be!

Clientele a little ‘judgy’ if they sense you’re ‘not from around here’. And if you really want stares, wear a Mask to protect yourself against #Covid19 while the numbers are on the rise again. But let’s move onto the food and wait staff. Our particular Server was a ‘Seasoned Professional’. Pleasant. Accommodating. Efficient. Asked all the questions to make sure your order is correct. When asked what type of Toast to go with my Omelette, our Server didn’t bat an eye when instead of toast I asked for HomeFries. And did I want them deep fried or on the Grill. Heck Yeah! Always on the griddle for those crunchy bits. The food is ‘Standard Diner’ fare with an ‘East Coast Twist’ like a choice of Fish Dishes. Not just Fish and Chips. The portions are very good. The food is very “Comforting”. The Menu is easy to get through so you can make quick choices. Overall, Jean’s is Spacious. The Waitstaff Efficient. The Food Well Priced, Well Portioned and Tasty. #Recommend

Excellent dining experience and great staff. Food was fresh and tasty and of good quality. Hash browns felt a bit under done, and the food portions were smaller than what was expected. Maybe some more hash browns or fruit would be better. Ham for the eggs benedict was tasty and good, but it was a bit small. Amazing customer service, thank you for a great breakfast!

This place was PHENOMINAL! This was our first visit! I had all intentions to get the breakfast, until the wonderful waitress informed me there was Shephards pie, which is my all time favorite meal! The food was delicious and a very good quantity, the prices were extremely fair, and the service was better than I could hope for!

UNBELIEVABLE. From the welcoming feel when you walk in. To the delicious food. The sizes oh my goodness, massive. And we were in SHOCK when the bill came and it was so cheap. This place looked newly renovated inside, with lovely staff. Came from Truro but would drive back just to come dine here again.

The server was kind and quick, the food was good, however, if you order the turkey poutine, be aware that it will be 50% stuffing. The other two meals at our table were great.

Super friendly staff, very spacious and their Desserts look amazing. Can't wait to go back and dine in. Original post was from a take out order March 2022 and went back in Dec of 2022 for an eat in experience. Very good. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5

The food was good as per usual, but not the service. Once you order, some of the waitress forget you exist.. I have to say a big thank you to the Rockstar waitress that was floating around making sure everyone was OK,and not just her tables. In the service industry when you have unlimited drinks for your customers make sure you refill before they get empty.. sure you will walk a little bit more.. and actually have to do some work.. but the tips will be better I promise.

The restaurant was packed and we got seated and the server brought our coffee, took order under 3 minutes, like wow and food was served in no time and was excellent. Cannot wait to stop in again as it was awesome. Server was was especially nice and dedicated to her customers for sure. Luv this spot
