Jitter Bean Cafe

It's about time my lovely wife Pat and I went to this fine café. I had always mistakenly assumed it was a simple coffee shop just going by the name. I was certainly wrong, it is so much more. It has a varied food selection and seem to be keyed more towards Korean food selection. Although I noticed today's special was a very glamorous grilled cheese though the description made it sound extremely appetizing. Not ones normal, nor simple type of grilled cheese. Although I was tempted, I stuck with my original reason for going here, to try their Korean meal selection. At the counter I ordered their advertised on the wall BBW Pork consisting of BBQ Pork of course, fried eggs, steamed rice and greens. I was not sure what the greens were but found them delicious. Visually reminded me of mermaid tails, but very small. Pat ordered the Japchae and mandoo dumplings went with the beef and pork option. Her choice consisted of stir fried sweet potatoes vermicelli noodles. Once again, when eating out, Pat had enough left overs for her dinner later this day. I completed the eating of my meal and felt very content afterwards. Pat especially enjoyed her café latte. I truly enjoyed the freshly made strawberry smoothie. I had intended to go with their famous hot chocolate but the idea of a smoothie overtook me. Next time. We both look forward to returning. When I asked Pat what she thought of this place she stated, "it's my new number one place"

Great coffee! Freshly roasted in NB, authentic Korean food available all day long. Kids love the flavor of hot chocolate.

It’s a cute spot! A bit expensive, but everything is really great. The ladies at the counter are friendly and wonderful.

Absolutely love this place! There coffee/lattes are the best! food is amazing as well! And the staff are so hospitable and kind super attentive to your needs: 10/10

It was ok. Bibimbap a bit greasy and fried style. I prefer the plain rice with veggies and egg on top.

The food was good, though my spicy pork could have been a little more spicy. The portion relitavely are large. The staff is very kind and custumer service oriented 8/10 would go again.

Great spot for coffee and lunch! Very cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent. I ordered the squash soup and it was delicious. All the sweet treats are pretty tasty too.

Fantastic cafe with a Korean lunch menu. If you’ve ever been to Seoul, you know the Koreans take their coffee verrry seriously!
