Jason G. Attaman, DO, FAAPMR

Without getting into too much detail about my health history, this doctor is a lot of show and fluff. He is very charming and convincing as well. He does not prescribe pain medications, even if he does a painful procedure on you. He gives everyone a sleep study to take home and makes you come in or pay a fee to get the results. I was having surgery and he refused to release the results to my surgeon. For safety reasons I had my Primary contact him and finally get the results, but it was after the surgery. It in fact was dangerous for me to have surgery and not stay in the hospital with his results of mild apnea. However nobody at his clinic is allowed to tell you tour results unless money is coming his way. He does not diagnose a problem he simply offers a procedure solution, like melting the nerves. Which he describes as easy and pain free, that's a bunch of bull. He is a money making machine and you are not a human being to him. Stay away as he offers no real solution anyway, and I have a feeling finds apnea in every client as he conveniently leases out or sells the equipment. Odd isnt it. Follow your gut instincts and Google everything. I got a real diagnosis a few weeks later and had I done what he wanted I would have ended up in the hospital for days in agonising pain. It literally terrifies me doctors practicing like he is for profit only areason allowed to do what they do.

I am a 36 year old who was suffering with chronic-disabiling pain in my knee, I found Dr.Attaman after hearing about a procedure called "coollief" that is a nerve ligation-obliteration procedure, Dr.Attaman was one of the only Dr. in the Pacific Northwest who preforms the procedure on the knee. After diagnosing that the procedure would work I had it done and I say to everyone I talk to that this procedure " is the best thing I ever did", I can live my life without the chronic pain- it's been almost 2 years since I had it done! Dr.Attaman is a Kind man and a Great Doctor, I recommend him to everyone I meet that suffers from joint pain, when I have to have the other knee done I only hope Dr.Attaman is still around.

I appreciate Dr. Attaman working with me. I have been living with chronic lower back pain for about ten years now. He stepped up to help me when most doctors gave up. He helped me get back on my feet after I was bedridden almost three years. During those close to 3 years that I was stuck in bed I couldn't find a doctor to help me. So, I appreciate his help. I also had a broken toe that had nerve damage, too, and he treated that pain as well. He did a lot for me, medically, to help treat all of my chronic pain. HOWEVER, there were times when I had to question his professionalism. I saw Dr. Attaman for a few years now (20 + procedures), and sometimes, had procedures every two to three months when he was treating my lower back pain. In his Auburn, Wa. Office they kept me waiting for three hours once. Not once did anyone ask about me. Not once did anyone walk to the front and see if I was waiting. And, not once did anyone acknowledge my presence. I asked the receptionist to inform Dr. Attaman that I was there after an hour passed and still it took three hours for them to bring me back. There were times when I showed up for a PROCEDURE at Overlake Surgery Center and the nurses told me that my appointment was cancelled. But, I was never informed. And, I did all of my preparations for my day surgery the night before. And, there were times when Dr. Attaman didn't have everything needed for my procedures/ items he had to order, and he didn't appear to care that I was ready for my procedure and he sent me home, yet again, only to return another day for my procedures/ day surgery. MOST OF THE NURSES who help DR. ATTAMAN (especially post surgery) at Overlake Surgery Center are EXTREMELY RUDE, uncaring, umempathetic, and cold. Most of them do NOT care that you are in excruciating pain and Dr. Attaman was rarely available post surgery.(He never helped me with post surgery pain either. He made me suffer through it and those back procedures are EXTREMELY EXTREMELY PAINFUL). In the beginning of my 20 + procedures Dr. Attaman was there checking up on me postsurgery, but, after the 3rd or 4th procedure he was unavailable. Over time he appeared uncaring to me. Over time, I felt like he wasn't interested in helping me. But, he is the main pain specialist Muckleshoot will go through. If I could pay out of pocket, once Dr. Attaman's office began mistreating me, I would have found a new doctor. But, he did get me back on my feet. I am grateful for that. But, I don't appreciate being treated less than by him, his employees and especially by the nurses that work with him at the Overlake Surgery Center.

I truly appreciate everything that Dr. Attaman has done for me. I finally am able to do things I've wanted to do without pain. It is so great to be out of pain and I know if the pain returns, I can go to Dr. Attaman for help. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients, and I appreciate the care he has given me.
