This masjid looks very impressive from the outside with its green domes and multi floored structure. But as a pregnant woman, I had access to only one of the many entrances and this was at the basement level. Not only did I have to go down a flight of stairs on the outside to access the "sister's entrance", I then had to bypass mosque cleaning equipment (mood and a shovel) to climb 6 flights of stairs to access the women's section on the third floor. Halfway through my journey to the women's section I gave up and entered a segregated prayer space at first thinking I'd made it to the women's section. I was shooed off my men who still managed to enter this segregated area to use as a short cut to get to their men's section. Finally I made it to the top most floor (the women's) section only to find that the windows which allowed us some visual of the imam were still covered in mesh. My journey downstairs was another trek. There is no equal accessibility to the mosque for women. And if you happen to be disabled or require a wheel chair? Forget about it. And how am I supposed to take a young child up so many flights of stairs? Once again, another impressive looking mosque mainly made for men

One of the best masjids in Brampton. In this world, one cannot please everyone. We should thank Allah we have a masjid where we can go and pray and most of all we are safe. Salams to all and Eid Mubarak.
