Story

Jaisel was founded in 2004 and occupies a unique space just south of Whyte Avenue on 104 Street in Edmonton, Canada. Jaisel is proud to offer boutique-style shopping that is exclusively menswear. As such, Jaisel continues to work to fill a void in Edmonton by providing unique style options that showcase the current trends in men’s clothing today. Jaisel carries many classic and progressively designed lines that create distinct looks for the modern man.

I have been coming to Jaisel for several years now. The sales rep was excellent; he helped me complete my quest for a new colourful Matinique shirt the other day. Jaisel is a very consistent shop with forward style, great customer service and a nice selection of vibrant men's clothing of which fit properly. Jaisel has come through multiple times that I've been in a last minute jam to find something specific and new for an event. Good pricing for quality clothing. Nice experiences so I will keep coming back.
I’ve been here a number of times in the last decade. Always a nice, clean, well-organized store. A lot of what they sell fits me well being a tall skinny dude. I don’t buy clothing often, but when I do, it’s here.
Price of product didn’t match the price on their website. They were unable to offer any refunds to correct this mistake which I find very odd being a business owner myself. Perhaps it’s my fault for not noticing the error sooner…
I’ve been to Jaisel a few times over the past couple of years and each time I’ve had an excellent experience! Beyond their brand selection being great lots of good Canadian brands, nice denim, etc. their customer service every time was what really stood out to me. The gentleman assisting me each visit was beyond awesome at helping me find styles that fit what I was looking for! I like to go in with an loose idea of what I’m after though - if you have a set style in mind, they may or may not have it in stock. I highly recommend going in with an open mind because that is where I’ve found they really excel in their service. I know when I go to Jaisel that I’m in good hands and I highly appreciate that!
To the sales associate who was forced to tolerate my interest in shopping at your store, I'm sorry. Sorry for interrupting your smoke break with my inconvenient arrival. Sorry for taking too long trying to describe what I was looking for, and forcing you to interrupt me and tell me that I need to explain what I'm looking for. Sorry for liking a shirt enough to consider buying several for the groomsmen at my wedding - I should have known that you couldn't possibly order one more shirt for an event 4 months from now. I received your message loud and clear, you aren't interested in helping customers. Sorry for the confusion, I won't be making that mistake again.
Service can be really good, but also really poor depending on who is working that day. Selection is so-so.
Finally found jeans I love! This place sells Naked and Famous brand -- made in Canada and top Quality jeans. Got a couple of my favorite shirts from here over the years too -- still wearing them after 4 years. The staff are pretty good at what they do.
Good selection of N&F jeans and Levis, as well as some sweats, tees, and dress shirts/suits. Had a look around and didn't see anything that struck my fancy, but I asked the person working if he knew of stores that carried a a particular brand that I liked, and did not see in the store. I assumed that, working at a denim shop, he might know something about the stores in the city or have some information that wasn't widely available. He suggested I "Google it", which I didn't really appreciate. Other reviews have said the service was good, on my particular visit I did not find that to be the case.
Bought a raw denim Naked & Famous jeans here back in 2015. They've become my favourite jeans and they're still in great shape Glad the guy in the store recommended them to me!
Went to this store today with some friends looking to browse and, obviously, hopefully buy some clothing. We were immediately greeted by the staff member on duty with a "Hey, really sorry, but I haven't had lunch yet and am going to have to kick you guys out after I'm done with this next customer." Two of the friends we were with immediately walked out because of how off-putting the greeting was. My girlfriend and I kept browsing, despite the staffs initial attempt to boot us from the store and deter us from supporting his business. We were more interested in watching the employee berate other customers as they walked through the door at this point. He mumbled the occasional profanity as other customers came in, before greeting them with the same warning as he did us. Pretty disappointing behaviour to see, as I've had good experiences at this store in the past. I feel bad for the store, as this would have obviously been a busy labour day weekend for them, and their business was hampered by an employee that cared more about a snack break than generating revenue. I Would appreciate some sort of follow up with management to let me know this guy's been dealt with, or to have an idea as to what hours he works so I know when to not go the store.
