I eat at Cactus Clubs all over, pretty much always the same dish! Even 2 days prior in Kelowna, the meal I had at the Vernon location was bar none the best serving of their Blackened Creole chicken I have had in well over a decade!! It was perfect and the portion was like they used to be rather than the smaller portions normally found the last couple years. If their meals are always like this, this is the number 1 Cactus Club in Canada
Great food and patio at this Cactus Club! Our table ordered a variety of dishes and would recommend any of the sushi rolls, salmon dinner options and the raincoast chicken salad. The only complaint is that the lounge and patio music was so loud that we couldn’t hear the server very well. I'm not usually one for Cactus Club.. so many local eateries... I came in to meet with friends here at the Vernon location... My mind was changed! A wonderful hostess greeted me... brought me to my group... and there was nuthin but full positive service! The food was amazing! I had the wagu plate... scrumptious! Our server was so fun and accommodating! Great atmosphere! Vernon Cactus Club is such a level above! Thank you! Kid-friendliness: Saw a wee one here...
We were there for dinner on Valentines Day. The food was really good and the portions were enough to comfortably fill my stomach. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Management took care in our orders by suggesting great options due to a sauce not being available at the time we wanted it and was quick to let us know how long it would take for it to be made and ready. One of our delicious key lime pies was free due to the delay. They cared about us here and we appreciated that. We were offered choice of atmosphere, dinning or lounge and for such an occasion, dinning was chosen and the feeling was exactly that, fine dinning as it was separate from the louder atmosphere of the "pub like" lounge. Over all, I highly recommend this location. I know I will be going there again and it is on my lost of places to eat at regularly. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose and your taste bids and stomach will thank you.
Okay Vernon, let’s talk cacti! More specifically, let’s talk about Vernon’s most recent cactoid — the Cactus Club Café! Boasting a contemporary, and harmonizing mix of glass and steel, the Cactus Club stands welcoming to any and all that pass by. By outward architecture alone, you are informed that class, elegance, and fine dining dwells within the confines of this sleek stand-alone structure. Cactus Club may be a chain restaurant, but don’t allow that to fool you into thinking that it is not uniquely Vernon’s own. Once you’ve wandered in through the prodigious entryway, you are immediately met with a modest throng of punishingly beautiful faces and figures. The air holds within it a subtle whisper of sautéed, glazed and caramelized offerings. A sultry hint of perfectly cooked steaks with the promise of sugary delights offered at the end teases you with promise. To the left stands the lounge/dining area, replete with large screen televisions offering the latest sports highlights, or the Cactus Club’s very own channel for the viewer to enjoy. Gifting a healthy choice of seat selections; from booths, to bar-top, to tables that seat two or more, and a seamless transition to the outdoor patio, you feel very welcome in this place. I have had the privilege of dining here twice now, and each time I do is a gift to my olfactory and glossopharyngeal nerve center’s. The Butternut squash is a delight not easily forgotten. Perhaps my only critique among my plethora of niceties is that I wish the dish was offered in a “heaping” option alongside its appetizer and entree offerings. The Cactus Club Café, without a doubt a fine choice for a luxurious dining experience. Thank you to the hardworking, knowledgeable and beautiful staff of Vernon’s Cactus Club, located on Anderson Way just off the highway. Trust me, it’s worth the visit.
This is by far my favorite place to go for dinner and now l don't have to drive to Kelowna! Yey BONUS! GREAT Food my favorite is Butternut squash ravioli and Tuna stack, l wish they didn't take rocket salad of the menu as it was a winner! Keep up the good job guys! Food: 5/5
The Cactus Club recently opened in Vernon so we decided to check it out. Customer service was top notch. They were booked solid with reservations but let us grab a quick drink and appetizer, which is why we were there. The cocktail was good yes its possible to get a bad one and the appetizers were delicious. We will definitely be back... with a reservation. The restaurant is beautiful, warm and friendly. Highly recommend. Parking: Big parking lot but it was packed. Found a spot though.
This is our 3rd time beeing here and it has been great everytime! If with kids on the diningroom side or as a night away in the lounge the vibe always checks out! Food is on point, and the service is always happy and fast. Favorite place in town.
Very nice dining room and ambience. Food was normal, good but nothing outstanding. Prices were pretty high $80 lunch for 2 with no alcohol, but I think that's normal now. Odd you have to get fries as an add with your meal fries are cheap and should always come as a side. Personally found the menu to be uncreative.Food: 4/5
