A friend recommended this place as the best Mexican food in Sioux Falls. (Note that the sign states it is Guatemalan food though I did not notice any traditional Guatemalan food on the menu, mainly burritos and tacos). The service was exceptional. My food was brought quickly and was excellent. The building is older but everything was neat and well kept. I will certainly be back.

Have had luck in the past. But lately, it's been awful. Cold food. Couldn't find the waiter most of the time. Ordered the lemon cake to go, got home, discovered that it was a soggy milk cake. Never asked how the food was when he did finally come back. Some random person came & slammed the ticket down on the table. Seeing other tables getting better service with sizzling plates. We definitely won't be back!

Very poor service. He was impatient that we didn't order when he came to our corner, very cold table, by the door. The food was cold. He didn't come back to ask how the food was. Ordered corn tortillas and got flour tortillas. Some gal in a sweatshirt came & slapped our ticket on the table. When the waiter finally came back, we asked for the lemon cake to go. He came back a short time later, left it on the table, later to find out it was the wrong cake, then he rushed outside. We have been there before and haven't had such cold food & very, very poor service. Watching the other tables there was sizzling plates of fajitas with other tables obviously getting their needs met. We won't be in a hurry to go back!

It was a small but comfortable environment. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our food came out timely and was hot and very tasty. The chips and salsa were good but we would've liked a little spicier salsa. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will recommend Jacky's to friends. We can't wait to eat there again!

Absolutely delicious seafood soup. Saw someone else’s photo of it while on a long winter road trip. It was as satisfying and awesome as it looks. A few warm tortillas on the side were a nice touch for dipping and finishing it off. Also had a great server. Excellent experience.
