Great place to feel in the country. While still being in the city. Lots of trails. And various levels to walk up or down to the river or just along various paths.

A small park donated to the city of Peterborough under condition it would only be used as a park. 49 Hectares of trails with some steep hills. Runs along jacksons creek between Macdonald and Fifes Bay Rd. A green jewel of the city.

Excellent in summer and fall; Lots of space and plenty of trail options. It disappoints in the winter/early spring when people walking their dogs seem to think they don't have to pick up the poop and it just becomes a slippery poop minefield. Real treat on the first warm spring day when the tons of frozen poops melt and it smells horrible until it's either cleaned or decomposes.
