Love this place. Spot right on the beach is priceless. Owners are super nice. We can't wait to go back and make this place our yearly tradition. Well worth the drive !

BEWARE....! Such a shame, this is a beautiful spot, but the customer service here is lacking huge for those that are not thier seasonal people. If they dont want temporaries than don't advertise for them. The mother and daughter were down right rude and the daughter very arrogant and rude. Morgan was the only polite one and would go out of his way to help you. The website said cash or debit, we get there and there is a $20.00 fee for plug and $20.00 for a access card to get in and out. We provided our debit and was told it was cash only for the plug, the card and any wood. And along with that came a lecture from the mother of how we should carry cash, and do we know how much it costs them to charge on credit, and how we should have read the website. We did, it said cash or debit only and we were trying to pay with our debit, not credit. We were counting change for the electrical plug and had $18.00, so they gave us that but not the access card. The following day when my husband said to the daughter Cathy, who is older, not young, we were going to go into town how would we get back in if she was cutting grass, she said park outside the gates and walk to your site (I was in a leg brace), my husband asked if she could just lend us one till we get back, and then we could pay with cash, she wouldnt and we couldnt use debit for a card. When my husband said that they were behind the times, she lost it and went sideways and said if you don't like it then pack your things and go somewhere else. We reserved a site for our daughter for a night cause they wouldn't let us put 2 tents on a site, they gave the site to someone else who just booked that morning. Those people offered to switch to another site in the same row, but Cathy wouldn't allow it and said others were coming in to the other 3 sites, nobody came for the two sites. And the one group that did arrive for a sit, put 2 tents onsite, with no additional charge, but we had to pay for another full site. I could go on but I won't. I work in the customer service industry and they really need to take a course on customer service.

Woodland campsite is a nice, clean and also relaxing place to be. Also, it is kid friendly, a no pets allowed area and it has clean washrooms too.

This low rating is solely because the campsite does not allow entrance of pets. Do not come if you plan to bring pets as they won't let you enter, will not even let you park your car on site.
