Just left the Camping show and needed a bit to eat. I google the best home cooking restaurants in Cedar Falls and this place popped up!nIt’s so close to where we were was an added bonus.nNice greeting and place sit where it’s clean and open.nWaitress came over right away with menus and silverware. Got our drink order and said someone would soon be other.nThe menu has a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections.nJess out waitress came over and we explained this was our first time here and not locals.nMy wife asked what she would recommend to us. Jess asked a great question first. “What are you hungry for? Breakfast, lunch or dinner”. We said lunch and she gave us 4 things said liked. My wife chose the Italian beef with a juice. Packed with plenty of meat, cheese and chopped onions. Along with a side of tater tot’s.nI ordered the recommended hot beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy. Glad I got the half because it was plenty and a cup of their pot pie soup.nMy wife’s meat was somewhat dry until you dipped it. It had more onion in it than she would have wanted. The toys were fried a little much. Not much taste.nMy dish was amazing. Meat tender, gravy tasty, bread huge and mashed potatoes yummy.nThe soup was interesting and very good.nJess our service was more than helpful and prompted.nWe would come back again and try other selections.nI would recommend this home style cooking restaurant to anyone.nUntil next time.nJrangelnMY DBQ.

Amazing food!!! I had the biscuits and gravy. We had a party of 8 and we were seated within 30 minutes on a Sunday! Fantastic service, great menu. Always a treat to come back here

It's small and usually very busy, but it's some of the best American diner and breakfast food you'll probably find in the Cedar Valley , and their baked goods are delicious.

I really like breakfast. This was one of the best chicken fried steak and eggs I have had. Gravy and hash browns were also good. I was eyeing the other dishes that came out of the kitchen. Didn't see anything that I wouldn't try.

Definitely one of the best hot beefs and the corn beef soup was really tasty.
