i understand the business of buying and selling used merchandise, you never know how gently or rough used it was, nobody makes you come in, if you are in a pinch, its your choice, ive always hads a pleasant fair experience here, and if im ever short on cash, would/will go back, i see alot of snivelers here, grow up, it aint a bank, its a business

These days, people seem to get the impression that pawn brokers are equivalent to mega retailers. They're not. What a pawn broker is, is a small employee staff who deal in merchandise within a particular scope of expertise. Given the broad range of items both the Brainerd and Pine River locations work with, people can *find* some very unusual and rare merchandise. Especially speaking for the Brainerd location, if it "isn't there" one day, tell Mike or Doug about it. If it is something you'd like to find, they'll keep an eye out for it. Myself, and my family have worked with Mike and Doug for decades. Like all pawn shops, you get what you put in to them. Don't sell them phony or stolen merchandise, and go in and talk to them once in a while. They're people like the rest of us -- and at that, they're very humble and friendly -- a little goes a long way. Be good to them, and they'll be good to you. Andy Stewart
