Location and studio: Nestled between the AGO and Old Chinatown, the 3200 sq ft studio, as you will come to see is a reflection of the art and culture it is immersed in.

A forerunner in the evolution of mma, bjj, karate and, self defence for men, women and children, Innercity Martial Arts combines the most practical aspects of combat with the methodology and philosophies of traditional teaching.

Chief instructor Shah Franco, with a world championship under his belt and 35+ years of teaching/coaching experience, is well versed in striking, grappling and self-defense. He has produced several notable MMA prizefighters, BJJ athletes (now instructors) and Karate athletes (now instructors).
