The Inn on the Moraine is a private retreat bed and breakfast located in the rolling hills of Caledon, Ontario Canada.

Story

The Inn on the Moraine is a private retreat, located on 10 acres in the Town of Caledon, Ontario, Canada. The current building expands from the original heritage log home structure erected in 1836.

Conveniently located within 8 minutes from the Caledon Equestrian Park (site for the equestrian events of the Pan Am Games in 2015); 10 minutes from the historical towns of Palgrave, Bolton and Caledon East; Glen Eagle and Caledon Woods Golf Courses; and Hiking and Biking Trails: Caledon Trailway, Heritage and Humber Trails and Albion Hills Conservation Area. And only 30 minutes from Toronto International Airport. Other attractions nearby are Canada’s Wonderland, the McMichael Gallery and Caledon Bad Lands.

The Inn presently offers a 1200 sq foot two-bedroom suite with queen beds, phone, wireless internet, clock/radio, robes; connected to an entertainment/lounge area with pool table, large screen TV, bar fridge and washroom (with toiletries and hair dryer). 24 hour coffee/tea self-serve in Breakfast Nook. Accommodates from 1 to 4 persons; ideal for two couples; a family of four; couples and singles.

Nestled under a canopy of 150+ year old trees and the rolling hills of Caledon, the Inn is completely private and provides ample indoor and outdoor space to relax and enjoy nature. With several outdoor sitting and dining areas, a pond and wildlife refuge, the Inn is ideal for getting back to the country and to nature.... while only 45 minutes away is the major city of Toronto.

It was a delight to stay in The Studio, so peaceful, our own large space, and so many interesting objects to browse. Everything was neat, tidy, well equipped and clean. The sunny breakfast room eating a delicious breakfast and watching the birds. It was all very lovely, thank you Diane, it was a pleasure meeting you….and Stan!
We just had a wonderful overnight stay at Inn on the Morraine. Although the weather wasn't the greatest and we didn't get a chance to see some of the beautiful grounds, we had a very relaxing evening. The house is beautiful and we had a very delicious homemade breakfast. Dianne and Stan were amazing hosts! We will be coming back.Rooms: 5/5
We had a thoroughly delightful 3 days 2 nights at the Inn on the Moraine. Our room, "The Studio" was spacious, immaculately clean, well equipped with kitchen amenities. The inn keeper, Diane Tolstoy, is exceedingly friendly , engaging and welcoming. Breakfasts were exceptionally generous and enjoyable. Exploring the extensive grounds & woodland paths was very enjoyable. We have already recommended Inn on the Moraine to friends.
We were in town for a wedding last month and stayed at Inn on the Morraine. We had such a great stay, the accommodation was very clean, spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and Diane a wonderful host! We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful country getaway. You won't be disappointed. We look forward to going back soon!
This was the first time we have stayed at Inn on the Morraine and we chose it because it was located in an area where we have never stayed before and as well, the reviews convinced us it would be a good choice. It was beyond our expectations. First of all, the location was perfect. We were looking for peace and quiet and we got all of it; both from the countryside as well as the property and the room. We chose The Loft which was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. As for the grounds it was huge, with a beautiful pond, numerous trees and so much space to wander around. We spent one whole day just relaxing on the patio or lounging in a swing listening to nothing but birds chirping. The highlight of the whole weekend were our hosts Diane and Stan. Such friendly and gracious people they certainly make you feel at home and relaxed. Breakfast was great with fruit, muffins, juices , coffee and a wonderful main course. This one is at the top of our bucket list when it comes to b and b's and we will certainly be back. Strongly recommend Inn on the Morraine for a wonderful, relaxing experience. Dan and Nancy
We stayed this past weekend at Inn on the Moraine. The property was beautfully kept and breathtaking! Our hosts were lovely and very hospitable. Our rooms were spotless and fresh and we had the best sleep we had in a very long time! They provided us with a delicious breakfast served in the morning sun on the deck. It felt like we were truly on vacation with such a serene setting. Would 100% recommend and come back to stay! Thank you Diane and Stan!
Our first experience ever at a bed and breakfast was an amazing one. Dianne and Stan were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The bed was amazing, the space incredibly decorated. Our 3 course breakfast was so fresh and filling. It rained so we weren't able to really check out the grounds, but you could tell they were beautiful. We will be returning so that we can spend time enjoying what we missed. Such a hidden treasure

The service and scenery were beyond expectation. This place is truly a hidden gem! The grounds are actually huge and very well maintained. We walked around exploring, hung out by the pond perfect spot for a picnic and spent the night under the stars by the fire. As a bonus the Food was so delicious and very filling!! 10/10 would go back!
Hospitality from Diane and Stan was very welcoming. They strived to make our stay comfortable. They were eager help us enjoy all aspects of events in Bolton including restaurants and day events. We loved our breakfast and would recommend this B&B if your looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature.
