Indochine Banh Mi

As a visitor from Ontario, I've been coming here during my east coast visits for… 10 years I think? It's by far my favourite grab-n-go spot in Halifax. Always nice to pick up a sandwich and a lemonade and head to Public Gardens to munch on it. Delicious banh mi sandwiches no matter what filling you choose. Owner is super nice too.

Ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi, there were only a few crumbles of chicken in it with no lemongrass flavor. Not worth the price or the wait over 15 min in my opinion.Food: 2/5

Amazing food and Great service. grabbed a pork meatball banh mi and mint lemonade. Everything on the sandwich was amazingly fresh, with just the right amount of chilies to give it a bit of kick. The lemonade was the perfect accompaniment to the sandwich. I regret not getting the pate added, but I'll remedy that on my next order!

Usually really great bahn mi. Just grabbed two BBQ tofu to go. When we opened them up there was no cilantro, barely any sauce and it was just loaded with carrots. If this was my first experience I wouldn't go back. Consistency is key!

Food is great but I waited over 40 minutes for my Bahn Mi Sandwich. The combo of in person and online orders clearly overwhelms the small kitchen during peak lunch so ensure you have lots of time.

Super delicious, authentic and great tasting Vietnamese/Thai food. I ordered the curry with tofu and it was really good. The banh mi was also delicious and both of our orders came within 5 or 6 minutes. Definitely coming here again

Excellent Bahn Mi! Lemongrass Tofu was awesome, meat was awesome - excellent spice, jalapeños were medium-hot so test them out first unless you're ok with heat. Staff here is so awesome! If you've bit had Vietnamese bahn mi be aware there's cilantro which for most people is a huge win. Great semi-healthy option after the gym, you can even carry around the baguette and secretly pretend you're Parisian in downtown Halifax. Next time will try the famous coffee.

we ordered 2 Banh mi's and 2 Noodle bowls Lemon grass chicken. Banh MI's above our expectation, fresh carrots cilantro with chilies. Noodle blows with crispy spring roll Thai peanut sauce was excellent. finally bubble tea smoothies simply super....

One of my favorite place for lunch in downtown. I love the lemongrass chicken Banh mi but tried Tofu banh mi yesterday that's also amazing. They gave lot of vegan and gluten fee options so good. great food and service thanks to indochine, you made my day......
