India Rosa - Griffintown

Cocktails are super delicious inspired with Indian spices flavors. I will definitely go back for there cocktails. And the new restaurant in Griffintown is very chic and pretty specially the bar. It will be a good place to date. One thing that I have to point out is I'm a little disappointed with there foods it's overpriced for we got and it would be great if they could elaborate a little bit more.

The restaurant is well known for its Indian cuisine. I booked a table 48h in advance for a friday night dinner. The service at the door was poor as they didnt know if our table was ready or not. After 20minutes standing at the door we were finally seated. The waitress was really helpful with the food and cocktail choices. The food was flavourful and well seasoned. I recommend asking about the plates if they are spicy or not as some plates can be really spicy for some taste buds. The service and the atmosphere were really good and everything went well. At the end i can recommend this restaurant but the only inconvenient is the high prices comparing to other indian restaurants. A plate can cost around 30$ before taxes and mandatory tips... Vegetarian options: Every indian cuisine has vegetarian options. Parking: No parking. You have to find spots on the street with all the construction and snow going on in this area.

Love the new location! Nice ambiance! Amazing food, quality and delicious. Music is nice I definitely recommend to everyone! Butter chicken and shrimp were 10/10, they also have mango lassi!!

I came here with friends and was pleasantly surprised by my experience! Having just opened over a month ago, I could have expected numerous issues but overall was great. The decor was super nice and it was definitely a vibe pretty loud but to be expected. The food was really good. We had the mushroom paneer and samosas to start, alongside an espresso martini which was delish and my friend liked the chai drink. We then shared the lentil curry, butter chicken and shrimp not masala, the other one and I forget the name. All were great. Butter chicken particularly tender and shrimp were fantastic. We agreed the naan wasn’t THE best, but sufficed with basmati. The only reason they lose a star for me was the service wasn’t great; the waiter didn’t check on us once when we ate, we waited a while for food and just 2 hours after being seated the manager or owner came up to us to ask about experience which was essentially to veil nudging us to leave so the next patrons could be seated. Valet is also $30 which I told him feels expensive even for Griffintown. Overall really fun though!

Definitely recommend it! The place is beautiful, good music and ambiance. I ordered the Guru drink and it tastes as good as it looks, beautiful. Malai Shrimp are a must, I can’t describe the flavor, but the sauce was so creamy and tasty. The service was very attentive as well.

Gorgeous restaurant, good food butter chicken and garlic naan bread were amazing great selection of cocktail and wine. Service was a little slow but our waitress was very friendly. On the pricy side, would not go there on the regular but for a special occasion, why not.

Hands down ONE of the BEST restaurants in Griffintown! The decor is chic and inviting, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food is AMAZING! Every taste offers an explosion of flavors. We had the chicken korma, shrimps and lamb which was very tender and juicy btw. As for drinks, one of our favourite go-to places for cocktails and apéro. Overall, I truly believe you get what you pay for! Price and quality are fairly balanced. Oh and the music Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu option Parking: Nearby places available

We went to India Rosa for dinner. It’s a beautiful place, very nice decor. The service was impeccable: from the moment we walked in our coats were taken care of and we were seated right away. The waiter Jeremy was very friendly and quick. We tried 3 different cocktails, some entrés and the main course. From our order we especially liked the cocktails and also butter chicken was very good. I personally can’t wait to try their brunch menu. Overall: Ambiance / Decor Service Food Drinks

I would like o give 1 star because they just focus on the presentation not on quality. First we ordered appetizers vegetable lugmes and the quantity was too low along with drink which also not good. In main course we ordered saag paneer and mix vegetables but they both taste is worse. The worst part when we asked to server can you please give three or four green chilli and he charged for that $4 which was very expensive. I can understand that it is fine dine in but atleast they shoud mention the green chilli price in the menu but they didn’t and they charged on my bill. I would recomend the people who would like to go there they should avoid this place extremely expensive and worse taste of food and quantity low according to the price Parking: There was no Parking

This place just opened up and it's already always full. It's got great vibes with good food and great cocktails. Unfortunately, this place being Indian, the food is mostly spicy or has lots of garlic so not quite my cup of tea, but still good. I recommend if you want a good date night or even a night out with friends.Food: 3/5
