It was nice to sit on the patio outside. It wasn't too loud. The food was okay but nothing special apart from the lobster rolls which were good Drinks were good! I really enjoyed the "shook one". The service wasn't the best but all the staff was very kind which made up for it

Delicious food - we all had something different and all was good. Drinks were fun… to sweet and not much alcohol . The vibe and decor was much better,staff were great …. Very enjoyable evening

Cocktails are good and also the food. The atmosphere are very funky and trendy lots of Japanese animation decor. But a little bit pricey for what we had. It's a good place for inspired Hawaiian cuisine.Food: 3/5

Great ambiance and food. We sat at the patio because it was a nice night & less loud. The cocktails are on the sweet side. Food was delicious. We had remixed fries, shrimp and mango salad for appetizers. Pad Thai, green curryamazing, sea bass was really delicious! Would def recommend if you’re in town & looking for something different

Not my first time here and the food is fantastic! I've tried many items and have not been disappointed yet. Quick service from our waitresses, food service and drinks. Good music overall great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and portions are good size. Highly recommend if you're looking for a evening out with friends.

Such a great ambiance at The Farsides! I went on a Saturday night and the DJ had us grooving while we ate. The cocktails were great & so was the food. The staff was super friendly and accommodative. I'd definitely go back!

If you’re a lover of good food and a good atmosphere, you won’t find better. The restaurant is like stepping into a giant nostalgic hug. The bar is like a Time Capsule of my youth, and the walls are filled with tributes to the same era. The food is a yes. The menu is playful and bright while being absolutely serious in its execution. They clearly take pride in their ingredients and presentation. Each dish was fresh with expertly balanced flavours - honouring its origins. While enjoying our beautiful meal, we were served drinks a mixologist would love. The cocktails are just as fun and serious as the food. I’d just ask your server to bring you their favourite and you won’t be disappointed. Walking in to the basketball court with the best 90s music playing in the background - you will be greeted by kind service in the best atmosphere in old Montreal. Huge thank you to everyone at The Farsides. I can’t believe it took me this long to come, but I’ll definitely be back soon. Cheers!

The ambiance and vibe of this place is insane! I absolutely love it. The food was spicy just the way I like. It was served fairly quickly as well. I got the Pad Thai and decided to add some prawns which was a mistake on my end because I was charged $17 CAD extra for a couple of prawns.. I should have asked how much in the beginning because it was definitely not worth that But overall I'd definitely come here again!

I went here with some friends. The ambiance was so fun! It's a HUGE place with great music and the decor is early 90's. The staff is so welcoming, even the kitchen staff were great vibes. The food is tropical and colorful but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near authentic. There was way too much mayo in the dishes; the papaya salad and poke bowl were pretty bland; the portions were quite small; but the lobster rolls were very good. I would come here again, for the atmosphere, but I wouldn't rave about the food.

My friends organised a birthday surprise at Farsides last week The place is well decorated and has good music. The only issue that i can notice is that Farsides is maybe lost between being a restaurant or a bar. That makes the experience less enjoyable as you can't enjoy a total restaurant or a total bar experience. In my opinion, the food is not that bad but if you compare the quality with the range price, you end up paying too much for the food... We had to take the full 3 course menu that cost more than 65cad plus tips plus tax. So for the food you end up paying approximately 100cad without even having a drink. The food is so normal that you can have the same dishes for half price in a good restaurant. A bad point that i noticed too is that they didn't serve us our dessert 3rd course because they had to cut our birthday cake... I hope i will have the chance to visit The Farsides soon and maybe live better the experience...
