We went for its bar The atmosphere was amazing & very beautiful design! but we got there a bit late, so the bar wasn’t too busy, when we wanted to get out, their hosts invited us to go to their club, they gave us a VIP wrist band complimentary & we went to the club! It was spacious, modern & sound system were amazing! One of the nicest clubs I went ! Highly recommended
A hidden eclectic gem in Montréal. From the outside you can never tell that you will encounter an exotic oasis. The ambience and design of the place are stunning, Mediterranean boho chic, like a Greek or a Lebanese place, full of greens, orange trees and art. This place combines different experiences. You can enjoy some cocktails and fantastic djs at a 5 à 7. Then you can have a great dinner and it becomes a club at night. I would say the food was delicious and well presented. It reminded me the food from Damas, maybe it's just my imagination but the chef could be one from there. We tried the hummus, the bread, the fatoush and the octopus. I loved them all, especially the octopus was excellent and super tender. I am giving 4 stars only because I found that it's very expensive. Honestly at a place like that at least the water and the bread should be on the house if they want to follow the traditions from Mediterranean counties. I have to mention that the service was great and very attentive while we had dinner. Overall, it's a fantastic place, perfect for a date night or a special ocasion.
The atmosphere is just amazing! Very cool lighting with Persian rugs and Mediterranean decor. Not actually sure the combination of that with electrical music of New City Gas is the best combo, but it is fun nevertheless! The bar is understaffed tremendously ! We waited 30 mins for some shots!
I love the ambiance, and the music! I went to Bazart in two seasons and they change the setting and decoration. both is very pretty and live. Highly recommended
We had an amazing experience there honestly. The place is incredible, huge, different and beautiful in many different ways. Anna took good care of us and we tried just about everything on the menu. A little on the pricey side definitely but the place is immaculate and everything was perfect so I was expecting to pay a premium.
Absolutely stunning decor & ambiance, but the food was lacking flavor and outrageously overpriced.. too bad like 75$ for 4 small lamb chops or over 100$ for a steak I would come back for a cocktail without hesitation though
I really wanted to love this place. Absolutely stunning space and that is an experience of its own. Looks great in photos and even better in person. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a dining experience - then I suggest that you look elsewhere. This was probably one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life, and I’ve been to a few places. Food plating is good but the overall taste is bland and tastes nothing like Mediterranean cuisine. Lacks love, taste, and heart. Food took over an hour to arrive but I blame that on the small fire that took place in the kitchen. The service though I can talk about for days. They lack experience, poorly managed, extremely disorganized, and my favorite are arrogant AF. The place was 80% empty on a Saturday night btw. Let’s talk about price ~ $350 for 5 courses shared by 2 and a mediocre bottle of wine. We left hungry, and made a quick stop at McD on the way back. Honestly, if you’re considering this place for a drink with a few friends, then YES, but for dinner? Look elsewhere.
Amazing experience at Bazart! Loved the whole concept of art, market and food all in one place. The energy of the place invites you to stay all night long. Service was excellent and food portions is fine dining portion which is a given not sure why some complain otherwise. Regardless, we look forward to coming and would definitely recommend. Thank you team bazart!
Came here to try their new brunch menu. This place is newly renovated and is a popup concept. I wish I could give it 5/5 stars because of it’s thoughtfully planned out concept, layout, and decor. The popup is inside a rundown looking building on the exterior, but upon walking in, you’ll find yourself in an oasis of art real and NFT!, plants, boho-chic decor, and Mediterranean food. The brunch menu is only prix fixe $60 pp+tax and tips and they portion the food per person by weight my only complaint. I wish they divided portions as pieces per person. It is definitely on the pricier side for brunch but for the price, I did expect bigger portions. However, if you are just looking for a place with good vibes and can look past the dollar signs, then this place is a good spot to visit with friends, family and even a date you can grab food then enjoy the gallery together! Brunch Menu: -Bellini -breakfast basket of pastries, croissants, Taleggio cheese a creamy Italian cheese, spiced honey this was so good, jam, and fruit parfait delicious -flatbreads with labneh and roasted red pepper dips -we chose halibut & lobster for the third course. Added turnips with it too for an additional cost. Everything in this dish, even the turnips, were delicious! Both the fish and lobster were sweet and perfectly cooked; halibut was also super flaky!
Very cool spot, can’t lie though we didn’t go past the waiting/first bar area but the way it’s decorated is absolutely beautiful. My friends tell me the food is amazing but be ready to spend some major bucks on that. Just hang at the bar with GiGi and Fallon and you’ll have a great night. Bring a sweater though in the fall season. Parking is always a problem in that area but they have valet for 25 bucks if you don’t feel like circling for 30 mins looking for a spot. Worth checking out! 5
