The most incredible experience! Worth the extra cost if you’re visiting the museum. The staff kept everyone very organized, the theatre was clean, and was overall a great experience! We saw the Turtle Odyssey and it was beautiful! Would have loved to see another film but ran out of time.
Had tickets booked in advance but with a winter storm coming I wasn't able to go. Customer service helped me immediately online/over the phone and processed a refund with zero issues. I did end up going to a showing on a later date and the service in person was just as fantastic! Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. The theatre is comfortable and every seat is a good view since the rows are stacked quite steeply. Excellent accessibility for those with mobility aids! I appreciate showings offered both with and without 3D as 3D tends to make me feel sick. There's nothing like seeing the quality at the IMAX theatre, and this location is just lovely. Will happily be back again and again!
IMAX Victoria is a great experience. The only true IMAX screen in the area. Now with the 4K 4x3 tall laser projectors vs the 16x9 mini liemax locations. Friendly people. Reasonable prices. And many deals avail of you go often. Only down side is when they go on the theatre intercom the second the credits start to announce the exit procedure and cut out the movie music and sound. Kinda ruins the experience if the movie ends on a impactful or musical moment.
Went to see the Bowie documentary "Moonage Daydream" and had a great time except at the end when the IMax voice-over came on too soon which disrupted the mood. I understand and appreciate the need to remind people to check around for their belongings, where the garbage bins are and where to exit - it's very helpful and necessary. But for a documentary like this, the announcement could've come on a little bit later - credits aren't just the end of a movie, they help the audience transition back into the world. People need a few moments to resurface from this sort of immersive experience before being shooed away from the theatre. Popcorn was very good - not overly salted and the "buttery topping" was surprisingly good no weird textures or flavours. At the self-serve island while getting napkins I noticed they had a lot of seasonings available if you like adding those.

Simply the best IMAX theatre and experience I've been to aside from the equally great IMAX in Seattle. Highly recommended for either a big budget blockbuster or the standard educational IMAX films. They often do extras for certain showings and the concession stand offer delicious treats and popcorn.
Moved here from Toronto 3 months ago..decided at Christmas to get an IMAX Annual Pass..smartest thing I've done in a while..totally AWESOME..totally worth it!!
Surround sound,superb picture quality makes you feel like you are right there!,enjoyed the film feature listening to other people afterwards alot of other people that attended agreed that the featured film was well worth the money! Really enjoyed the experience!!
Saw Top Gun on a Thursday night. Movie started a little late because we waited for everyone to take their seats. Sounds was great, seats are comfortable, however did notice a little hole in the screen or something on the left side. The other people I was with also noticed it and we commented on it afterwards.
Loved the imagery/photography, highly recommend it.
