IHOP

I took my girlfriend and her bestie here for breakfast at 10 am. Jan 28. We got waitress Michelle. She was so awesome. She went above and beyond. Her attitude was very welcoming. She needs to be promoted. Food was great and place was clean.

I was freezing throughout my entire meal. Food is extremely over priced and I was still hungry after my meal because the portion size is very small. We waited for 5 minutes at least before somebody even greeted us at our table. I ordered pancakes, went to grab the syrup and found a 2 inch long hair coming out of it, with syrup dripping off it. I asked my waitress for a new syrup because there was a hair and she told me “no that is just left over syrup.” I said “no, if you look at it that is a hair.” She tried looking at the hair, tipped the syrup and spilt it all over our table. Her response was “um okay it was probably from the people before you,” and she didn’t clean up her syrup. She also just set the syrup on the next table without cleaning it. I’ve never been more disgusted and unsatisfied with a meal in my life.

I love IHOP! Their breakfast menu and inventive specialty items such as stuffed french toast are amazing. This particular resturant charges nearly $4 per soda as I found out in the past. I swore I wouldn't go back to this restaurant because of the greed of anyone that charges $4 for an 8oz glass of soda.. it's been at least a year and the new speciality items are out, so I decided to try IHOP again but this time, I ordered coffee for my two kids and two adults. We drank one cup each of the watered down nasty coffee and they ended up charging me $2.59 for each 6oz cup of coffee. I asked the waitress about the cost of the coffee and she immediately referred me to the woman that must have been lead waitress and she tried to explain the the price was based off entire carafe, which was still unjustifiable. If that were the case, they should have encouraged me to have Togo cups, which they did not. Im guessing they filled the carafe and gave it to soneone else. Her explanation was week and the actions of tge other waitresses showed me that this was thier scam and that I'm not the only one questioning the cost of thier drinks! I have included a picture the receipt showing the cost of the coffee. Despite the good quality food and generally good wait staff here, I will choose to eat somewhere else. I have been all over the country and given many great reviews and have been very pleased with nearly every place I have chosen through reading reviews just like mine today.. but this unfortunately is my first bad review!

I found it extremely disgusting to come back from the restroom to find a extremely long strand of brunette hair in my sandwiches..
