Ridiculously expensive produce. Terribly over-packaged produce, of course this is an industry wide issue, but the only real remaining non-recyclable waste that we produce is largely the Styrofoam trays and plastic wrap. I don't believe the status quo is acceptable, especially for a store with such huge margins on the price of their produce.The surliest bunch of cashiers on the south shore, there isn't another grocery store that I can remember with such unfriendly cashiers, nobody seems to be having any fun, ever. Once in a while someone will manage a pinched, bitter smile. Ugh.

The worst iga I have ever been to. First of all my biggest problem is the snobby cheating employee (employees) they have working here. I went shopping here and first I just want to know why are your prices so high... I mean is your product better than other stores I know it came out of the same ground or off the same tree on this Gods given earth as any other grocer...or I was hoping that with the prices I was paying to find some gold in it or a surprise gift. Wow... way toooo expensive. As for the cheating and horrible service... I went to your deli counter and a attendant served me and I took 4 different types of cold cuts and I was on my phone while he was cutting them but at the last cut of meat I got off my phone and my wife said to me that the clerk would change the thickness on the slicer after showing the first slice of meat which we asked for all of them very thinly sliced and so when it got my attention i said to the clerk excuse me but this seems too thick and by the price ticket u just put on my bag I know it's way too much and he said to me that he couldn't go any thinner ( yeah right... do I look like an idiot ) i don't know if the clerks behind the counters get a bonus when they sell more but I was totally ripped off and don't appreciate that I ended up paying triple what I wanted and should have payed for my meats. I didn't want to make a big show because other people were waiting and my wife made me keep my composure. I wonder if this is how louise Ménard got so rich and owning all the IGA's that she does by ripping people off.

Good variety of groceries. They are often out of certain items and you have to ask if there are any left in the stock room. It's more expensive than other grocery stores

Prices seem more and more expensive. Service is OK.
