Brunch: Visited this quaint spot without a reservation, and had no trouble getting a table. The clientele seemed to consist mostly of families and seniors. The service was good, but unfortunately, the cassolet I ordered lacked seasoning and flavor. The salad takes half of the plate and taste bland. The waitress told us the tartar is the best dish on the menu. I loved how they decorate the mimosas. The homemade peach lemonade was interesting, but didn't quite hit the mark, and the chai latte was just okay. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. On a positive note, the restaurant is conveniently attached to a store where you can shop for kitchen appliances.nnParking available
Food was really good but staff seemed disorganized. We waited for at least 30 minutes and they weren’t able to give us an established of how long it will take to get a table. We inquired about their cakes since they no longer have any available in their display fridge..and the waitress told us itself in the dessert section of the menu. We looked at the dessert section and they only have desserts in jars, no cakes. When we asked her again, she said we need to order a whole cake, they no longer offer slices like before. I wish they were clearer.
Lovely place for family and friends. This place is full of natural light and parking situation is easy. Food is good and well presented. House smoothie is thick and filling. Service is a bit slow but overall professional.nnPs: the store next door is pleasant to walk after the meal. Excellent marketing!
After trying Café Ricardo’s delicious cakes, we had to try their brunch spot in Saint-Lambert and we were definitely not disappointed!!nnTo drink. We ordered two glasses of mimosa: grapefruit and rhubarb. The grapefruit one tastes sweeter, opt for the grapefruit one! They have different flavours every week or so.nnTo eat. We chose the Asparagus Croque-madame and the Rhubarb Bostock. The flavours in each plate married so well together, it was a delightful experience! We finished off with a slice of their lemon cheesecake - it was excellent.nnFrom the presentation to the great service and prices, Café Ricardo is a must try!nn9.5/10nPrice: Around 35$/person
Horrible service for such a renown place! The waiters are not friendly at all and very very slow at serving. It took her 1 hour after getting our order to serve us. And she never introduced the menu or explained it …nAs per the food it is ordinary, nothing waw or delicious at all. Plate Presentation is very cute but it lacks lots of taste unfortunately…it was a big DECEPTION!!!
