We came in looking for a mother of the bride dress, pulled about a dozen absolutely beautiful gowns, and Debbie was amazing the whole time. We will make the drive back from Mississauga just to shop with Debbie again, I cannot say enough great things. And my mom is going to look gorgeous at the wedding!
I had a prior great experience shopping at this location. This was the second time I went for a mother of the groom dress. Unfortunately the dress I recently purchased tore the day of the wedding while I was getting ready, which was very stressful. Fortunately someone had a sewing kit. I don’t know what I would have done! I believe it was due poor alterations as the tear was at the seam of where it was altered at the shoulder. I also had it shortened, and the bottom was unraveling as the night progressed. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy, especially when I spent close to $1000.00for dress and alterations.
I had a purchase from “The Bay” market place- Ideal Fashions. They send me a defective item watch. It took me 4 months, many times calling them, still they didn’t refund my money,even after the product’s return. Worst purchase. I will never had such a awful experience in my life. Very frustrating process. Ideal fashions has a poor customer service and low quality of product.
Bought a very beautiful and very expensive dress Seamstress destroyed it. No remorse on part of owner. Once they have your money they do not care about you or your purchase. Owner not pleasant at all. Will never shop here again.
I absolutely love the spirit and vitality in this store . Diane is a mount forest gem , truly kind and extremely knowledgeable about fashions and women’s wear. The team is excellent , the store features excellent quality labels and I am never disappointed. Shopping local is so very important but I am not surprised people come from all over the province to visit this store . We are lucky to have had this store in our town for decades and Diane has elevated it to a new level in recent years I am very impressed at her infinite ideas and attention to detail. Career wear, travel, formal, casual, special sizes , trendy accessories ..it’s all at Ideal. Make the drive it’s worth it .
My daughter and I were looking for a mother-of-the-bride dress. Debbie was amazing. Her helpfulness and enthusiasm made for such an enjoyable experience. We ended up keeping them after closing time, but they didn’t want to rush us. I absolutely love my dress!!
My mom and I had such a great experience shopping for mother of the bride and grooms dresses that’s right, she was looking for 3 dresses. Debbie was incredibly helpful, and very attentive while we browsed and pulled dresses for my mom. Debbie was very quick to grasp my mom’s style and once we found a dress, she skillfully paired it with their gorgeous jewelry. My mom purchased 3 dresses, and also the jewelry to go along with each. We were so Impressed with the selection-Diane has brought beautiful gowns into the store. We will definitely be recommending the store to others after having such a great experience!
I love this store! I always find the perfect dress for the occasion and other clothes that I like here. Dianne and Cindy looked after us last time I was there and were very helpful and attentive.
I can't say enough nice things about this store and staff!!! I live in Kitchener, but have driven to Mount Forest several times to look for a formal dress. Each time I was so impressed with the help and attention I received in picking out the perfect dress for both my daughters' weddings. It certainly is worth the drive to Mount Forest. I've recommended this store to several of my friends and they too have been very impressed. Great store, great selection, wonderful staff.
What a wonderful store! Dianne and the crew go above and beyond with customer service and good advice. When you enter the shop, you feel as though you are dropping in on some good friends who want to help you look your best. The clothing selection is superb! There is something for everyone taste and every size. Whether you are looking for a fancy party dress, cruise wear, or just a different fun look, you will find it here. If any alterations need to be made, there is an on-site seamstress there to make it perfect. If you live out of town, the clothing will be shipped to you when the alterations are completed! What more could you ask for? It is a fantastic store with wonderful people! Whenever I wear something from Ideal, I am always asked, "Where did you get that great outfit?" and receive many compliments. I love it! Thank you to Dianne and all for making me look my best!! You are all very special people and Ideal is a very special store!!
