This tiny store front opens up into a very spacious seating area to enjoy your tea. Not your average bubble tea. The quality of the oolong is excellent and the cheese foam is chef’s kiss. Prices are high but the drinks are big. Highly recommend the Four Seasons with Cheese Foam.
This bubble tea shop is a real gem! I love that the focus is on the variety of teas and they brew all the tea in front of you. They make their teas so consistently well that I've walked out extremely satisified each time. There is also a nice spot at the back of the shop where you can enjoy your drink or when it's warm, there is a small patio in the front.
Congratulations! You just found the best and perhaps also a secret tea place in Toronto Downtown~ I have been a loyal customer of ICHA TEA for 3 years now and I have to say that I love this healing and low-key place from the bottom of my heart! This secret spot is perfect for spending your afternoon with some friends, books, desserts, and more importantly, all the authentic traditional Chinese tea that you can try out. Not to mention the fact that the owner and staff always provide timely service and show great passion towards what they do. Talk to one of them, you will find them to be very knowledgeable in anything tea-related! Sincerely hope ICHA TEA keeps on surviving and thriving during COVID, can't wait to go back and enjoy their tea at the beautiful tea bar!
Now, most bubble tea places here taste the same because they use the same type of powder and juice for their milk teas. However, you can truly experience the taste of real tea at ICHA TEA. It's clear that they use quality tea leaves to brew their teas and I love how deep and flavorful their drinks taste. I've been here twice and both times were great. The strawberry milk tea had real strawberry puree and the chrysanthemum oolong tea hit the right spot. While the place was very pretty and had a cool Chinese teahouse decor, I wish the ventilation was a bit better. It can get really hot sitting inside in the middle of summer.
I've always had this place on my list because I've heard good things. The place had a great atmosphere and the back is very spacious. The staff were also nice. I got the Matcha Latte and the Black Sesame Cheesecake and they were pretty good. I want to try their other items but so far, I had a great experience.Food: 4/5
They have a selection of black/herbal/green/white tea to choose from and some asian desserts. We also tried the pudding and the sesame tofu cheesecake which paired well with the floral jasmine tea we ordered. The prices are expensive for tea - paid 16$ for 2 but you get unlimited water and it’s a very relaxing experience.
A very classy and quaint Japanese tea shop. It’s a nice place to chill and take a break. I tried their matcha roll cake and rice wine milk tea, and they were both great in taste! I could definitely taste the rice wine in the milk tea, and it was very unique. The matcha roll cake had a delicious cream. Nice place to visit for any asian-culture fans!
This is a really cozy tea spot where you can order bubble teas or traditional tea sets. They also have select unique desserts. The rose pudding is my favourite. It’s a good spot to do work or study but there’s a laptop free time on weekends from 12-4. Beware if you’re taking a date here. Everything echos so we’re all eavesdropping!
Black sesame cake is one of the best black sesame desserts I've had. Strong, rich flavours, excellent creaminess, and perfect crumble on the bottom. Matcha roll was also good. Preference for the pu erh tea. The tea bar is enough for two people to just sit and enjoy.
Incredible cheese foam bubble tea. Cute space, quick service and tea made to order. None of those pre-made jugs of tea. Highly recommend. Space isn't accessible
