The bubble tea here was really delicious. The bubbles were the right consistency of chewy and the tea was strong enough, but not overpowering. It was my first time here, but definitely want to go back and try more. The only drawback is there wasn’t too much variety on choices to drink. With that said, they concentrate on the quality especially with the brown sugar bubble tea that I had. Great job, will see you again soon.
If you like chewy tapioca and fresh milk tasting drinks, try the Brown Sugar Bubble with Fresh Milk. Their drinks are that sweet and you can really taste the milk. They offer some other drinks as well, but pretty limited menu. I guess they focus on what they do right.
Saw a new bubble tea shop opened up in the plaza and decided to try it! It replaced the Gong Cha that was there before. Their menu isn't very diverse and is fairly limited, but I have to say their tapioca is very, very good! I got their milkshake since it seemed like their signature, but I think I would have preferred their milk tea instead. They use real milk and not powdered milk like other shops, so the slushy ice wasn't very flavourful. If I was gonna mix the warm tapioca with the slush anyway, I would have just gotten the milk tea!
Bubble Lee is Great For me !!! After stuffing ourselves with Wuhan Style Dry Beef Noodles at Wuhan Noodles 1950 in Markham, we walked a few doors down to another local Fave. Bubble Lee is another local family-run business serving the famous Taiwanese Style Brown Sugar Pearl Milk with is a nice alternative to traditional Bubble Teas. Although we were stuffed, I had a craving for something Sweet and Bubble lee hit the spot. BuBble Lee serves Brown Sugar Milk, Lattes, Sweet White Gourd Drinks, Teas and Slushes. Our group got a mix of these and I settled for a Kit Kat Slush !! Yum, that's all I can say, and it's not our first time at Bubble Lee and won't be our last.
I got 1C: Brown Sugar Bubble Original Milk Tea, with Ceylon tea, Large size, 50% sugar, 25% ice. $5.99+HST. Not very sweet at 50%, tapioca was alright, saw some particles, which means they probably did not use real milk. I could taste the tea, and the large size was actually large. I thought that it was watered down a bit. A-OK.
It's good but not crazily addictive
I rated this one star because whenever we go there, whether it is morning, afternoon or night, it is NEVER open. No matter weekdays or weekends. How do you even stay in business?
Fast and efficient service. Highly recommend the signature brown sugar bubble tea.
I found their menu was somewhat limited in selection compared to most other shops around it. I ordered the brown sugar oolong bubble milk tea and asked if I could replace the milk with soy, since it was on their menu, but no. Apparently, you can get a soy milk or a milk tea, but not a soy milk tea. I also felt the drink was rather expensive for what I received almost $7 for a large size. There was a big tub of premade tapioca, a pitcher of cooled oolong tea, plenty of ice, milk in the fridge, and squeeze bottles of brown sugar sauce and simple syrup. None of the ingredients seemed particularly time-consuming to prepare, but I felt like I had to wait a bit longer than expected, even though I was the only customer in the shop. The drink itself was very bland and watered down. The smell of the oolong tea seemed a bit stale and kind of left a dank aftertaste. Also, it could have used more brown sugar.
I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST TAPIOCA EVER!!!
