My friend suggested to try this place after we got dinner, and I was intrigued by their offerings. The one I went with was the random choice, which is essentially selected by the staff. Not completely sure what I got, but I think it was a sweet milky drink, possibly coconut? A bit reminiscent of a pina colada, but it was alright. Not sure what I got for pearls, there was not much of a flavour. When it comes to bubble tea, I like to try new flavours I haven't tried - well, I definitely got what I ordered. Maybe I'll stick to the menu selection next time.
It's a problem to make a choice. Chinese bubble tea places often use artificial ingredients that make your stomach a hard time. It was also hard to understand what the cashier says due to Chinese accent and mask wear. Ended up with yoghurt and cheesecake chocolate drinks. The chocolate part was good, but the cheesecake layer tastes like a gum sole. The good thing about this place is that they close late, as we love to walk at Spadina at night.
Standard selection of bubble tea drinks. The boba was a bit firm but the tea tasted good. Interior seating area looks nice but is currently closed due to covid. Has a cool wall of little rubber duckies that you can buy for $10 each. Service was mediocre.
Rude staff with arrogant attitude. We were the only customers but she made us feel like we were bothering her so much asking some basic questions. Coming to a bubble tea store and told we'll have to wait 30 mins for tapioca? Never going back. Owner needs to train their staff to be professional and polite, or reevaluate who they hire to run their business.
Super cute, didn’t take long. I don’t usually get oolong but it was pretty good. Cute duck wall!
The tea is good. The best dessert they have is the soy mochi cake bento. Almost no sugary taste to it and it is so smooth. The lady who is there most of the times is really nice too.
One of my favourite places for Bubble Tea in Toronto! Ordered many times from different bubble tea places like Chatime, but this is simply 'higher' quality stuff!Food: 5/5
I like how this a hidden spot for bubble tea ! There’s space to sit unlike some other places ! They have a unique variety of flavours and choices. They even have done in only desserts They also got mini version if you don’t want to drink that much : Definitely recommend :
amazing! ordered on ubereats and got the -strawberry yogurt pudding drink! was recommended by a friend and i would also certainly recommend. i was hesitant at first about pudding and yogurt combo but it's fantastic! it's also a good yogurt consistently, not blended with ice or anything weird like that. will definitely be reordering frequently -strawberry BB was sooo good, a fresh strawberry milk! -strawberry milk tea which was quite good but has a pretty strong tea taste in my opinion which is neither good or bad necessarily:
Edit: this bubble tea shop really deserves more hype. I’ve been frequenting this place a lot more because it is hands down my favourite spot for bubble tea. Their tapioca is perfect every single time. I usually get a regular pearl milk tea with oat milk. Most places have a hard time making an oat milk bubble tea taste good. I’ve found that it usually takes a few times to figure out how to customize an oat milk tea at each shop but HIGHER nails it every time. Even if oat milk is not your thing, their regular bubble teas are always perfect and I’ve never had a bad experience here. First review: Got the oolong milk tea with golden pearls and it was perfect! It seems like they sweeten the pearls rather than the tea itself and I typically don’t like most places that do that but I really liked the way they did it, felt like a good balance for the drink. It’s definitely a little pricier but I think it’s worth it. New fav bubble tea spot for me for sure!
