Hurdle Jerald E DO

Dr. Hurdle treated my mom and foster son and it was a great experience. This man is very knowledgeable and wise when it comes to all issues involving skin care. I would give Dr. Hurdle my full recommendations!! In both cases we had very favorable outcomes. I learned a lot from attending these appointments.

Dr Hurdle was kind at first, but once you start to question his methodology and explain to him that in the past other dermatologist had success via alternative avenues... he immediately became an arrogant individual. I felt that he was simply trying to prescribe specific pharmaceuticals to get a kick back from the reps rather than actually provide you with a routine that is TRULY catered to the specific individual. Also, I called him on a question about Accutane (isotretinoin) and he legit made up a few blood tests that aren't actually required, but more fear-mongered me into thinking Accutane wasn't the choice. On top of it he even stated he doesn't like to prescribe Accutane so from what I get is that this gentleman is here to push off his own personal morals/objections onto patients, rather than taking the time to actually listen to them. Hey news flash you pretentious dermatologist! One shoe does not fit all and it's a terrible shame that Elmwood Primary actually believes you are as good as you claim.

As many people want a Dermatologist near to them you really have to do your research. I was seen by this provider I was told he was a board certified Dermatologist. When my insurance was not paying I called them up and asked why? I was told it was because his practice listing was as a Proctologist! For those of you who do not know that meaning it refers to the bottom (Butt). The practice was telling patients he was certified Dermatologist but he was not. He did not treat my condition correctly and as a result I have facial scars that will NEVER go away!

Physical office space is peaceful, comfortable and affords space for privacy. Staff is knowledgeable, professional and respectful. Dr. Hurdle is accessible, highly skilled and knowledgeable, attentive to detail and patient concerns; a combination that helps to assure the best possible outcome in times of need. I have not hesitated to recommend Dr. Hurdle to my friends and family.
