The nursing staff was amazing, informative and comforting. Dr. Belanger was thorough in preparing me for my surgery. All post op personnel were very skilled, attentive and helpful. I was very surprised at how good the food was, so even the food service staff service staff deserves kudos!

My pcp referred me here to get aftercare of my recent surgery. They were very quick to call me to tell me they would not see me because it was a gender surgery that I had. Never in my life have I been denied medical attention because of my gender surgery. If you are a professional I feel you should be able to deal with patients of all kinds. Really disappointed. Horrible. Truly sad.

Let me start by saying I have never left a bad review before.. but this situation certainly calls for one. I love have been waiting OVER two weeks for them to fill out a PA form to get a medication.. two weeks. They also scheduled an important test that will determine if I need a surgery on my kidney without calling me to see if the date works or even notifying me at all that they scheduled it. How can a medical office function this way? So ridiculous.

I waited months to get an appointment specifically with Dr. Belanger to discuss the Rezum method he uses. After being rescheduled once for no apparent reason, I showed up to find I was to see a nurse practitioner. Dr. Belanger was not even in the building, and no one else knew anything about the procedure. They got their copay up front though... Never again.

Worst hospital so far I’ve been to. Dr. Belanger I would describe as follows, Young, Inexperienced, incompetent! Failed to remove kidney stone twice finally had to go to Portland to get the job done properly typical substandard central Maine culture of work. Will never return again to him or Augusta Maine General!

Went in for my appt. And was told that it was rescheduled without me knowing and there reasoning was because I didnt have 1000 dollars in hand or insurance so Billing decided it was in my best interest to not get the care i need I cant believe this I've been in so much pain over the last several weeks waited 3bweeks for this appt to see if the problem was there or somewhere else now I have no help

This is for urology Maine General. No respect for patient time waiting on the phone. Canceled appointments and went to Maine medical.

Dr belanger deserves five stars for professionalism and success with my recent surgery! Highly recommended!!!

Had appointment waiting for a hour.and still wasnt seen and with this this virus having over 12 people in a small waiting room .some even had to sit in floor.got up and left full panic attack
