After many years of vacationing at their beach home on the Long Beach Peninsula, Dennis and Lois Roberts' dream came true in May 2009 when they took up permanent residence and purchased the Hungry Harbor Grille from Terry Benjamin.
Since opening Dennis' Hungry Harbor Grille, Roberts and his 10 employees have been serving up "good old-fashioned hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chips, handmade milkshakes and fresh cooked chowder every day."
He says once a week they will also feature Mexican dishes prepared by Lupe Pacheco, as well as a "Sammy Day," which will feature specialties by Sam Cervoni.
