The staff are nice and friendly. Clean and well maintained kennels. They have a play area where you can interact with the dog you're looking to adopt.

I rated it one star because even though the dogs there were amazing they had too many unnessisarry rules there about adoption. I tried to adopt a dog there once, but they said my son had to be 13 years old before I could adopt a small dog there that had potential for nipping. We have a blue mini heeler at home so my son is used to hyper nippy dogs. I would've monitored the new dog around my child if there was a concern for nipping because I love my son and would never allow a dog to do permanent damage to him. Ive worked with dogs throughout my whole life so I know what to expect with all kinds of dogs. My advice to this place is if you want to adopt out dogs then quit making up stupid unnessisarry rules! I've been bit by dogs before when I was a kid and it taught me to be more respectful towards dogs. Ive learned alot from dogs and i want my son to have the same opportunities i had bonding with dogs. Nothing wrong with experiencing life as long as no one is permanently hurt so quit sheltering us from life!

Whenever we travel we always check out local rescues and shelters. This one is a cute shelter with lots of great cats and dogs. Today there we decided not to take one home, but we will check back the next time we are in town.

Nice collection of inside and outside dog kennels. The cat areas are nice as well. The staff/volunteers were not very helpful though so left without getting much information.
