Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse

We stopped in for a few beers and some food while traversing the downtown area. It's location is a big plus if you're into the downtown night life. Had a good time, and food was pretty food. Live music on Saturday was an enjoyment. The bar seemed more lively than McGinleys which is just around the corner, which is nice too if you're looking for a quieter bar scene.

I ate there the first week of August. Di d the Kodiak Arrest Challenge. They told me they would mail me my T shirt since they didn't have one in my size. I still have yet to get it. For that reason I would rate them a 1.

I go here every Tuesday evening for spirited bar trivia competition. Food is good, reasonably priced, and beer list is extensive. But don't expect to be able to hear yourself think (it's pretty noisy).

My first visit here which was Sunday brunch. Ordered a bowl of Salmon Chowder which was amazing! King Crab Benedict and King Crab Omelet were excellent as well. Try the Reindeer Sausage, it's really good!

Had the fish and chips, halibut style. Cooked perfect. I wanted more. Loved the surrounding. All the taps up on the wall were cool. Definitely coming back.
