I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with a dessert cafe. We ordered the Mango Romance and Coconut milk w/ taro paste pineapple bun. The mangos were extremely sour, the ice cream was hard, and the mochi balls were undercooked. As for the pineapple bun, it did not look anything like the picture on the menu at all. The bun was dry, the taro paste and coconut milk tasted like nothing, and they gave us a bowl with the smallest amount of extra taro paste and two sad pieces of parsley. The amount of taro paste that fell onto my plate was more than the amount they gave us! Overall, this place is not worth the hype and extremely overpriced for the taste and quality of the food. Your money could easily be spent at other dessert cafes.
Very beautiful and delicious desserts here. You first walk into a gorgeous pink floral themed cafe and are greeted by beautiful waitresses. I like their outfit as it is quite cute. You then have a huge variety of desserts to select. You'll see my photos with the 3 desserts. They all have a well-balanced of sweetness, texture, and coolness. I'd recommend coming here to try.
Lovely atmosphere and well designed drinks. Drinks are for those with a slight sweet tooth surrounded with a smooth texture. Atmosphere is very vibrant. Customer service is warm. Attention to detail is impeccable down to them bring a drink to you. 10/10 would recommend for as a date spot
Stunning interior design and great staff! If you are a mango lover, this place is for you It was worth every penny, with very delicious and delightful desserts. The mongo jumbo had everything and had a generous portion, which makes it the best option to share or not Highly recommend it
We wanted to sit at the larger sofa but the server told us it’s for bigger groups. We ordered jumbo mango chewy ball. The ball in the centre was not a complete sphere; the top part was missing. There’s mango sauce, mango pudding, chewy balls, mango, mango ice, and the ball in the centre it’s not ice cream, I’m not sure what it is. The taste was pretty good, sweet but not too sweet. We paid a bit over 18 dollars after taxes and tips.
Terrible dessert experience! Here's a breakdown of our disappointments: 1 Service was painfully slow; we had to wait 15 minutes just to place our dessert order. 2 Desserts arrived with a 20-minute delay, not all at once, causing frustration for larger groups. 3 The mango cubes lacked sweetness, a letdown for a place known for its mango-centric treats. 4 The was undercooked and not the chewy delight we expected, particularly the inner part. 5 The bottom pudding, resembling mango pudding, was tasteless and strangely plastic-like. 6 The desserts were exorbitantly priced, given the subpar quality and service. We've realized the warnings about this overpriced spot were accurate. ***Opting for the mango ice cream was the safest choice, as it was clearly scooped from an inexpensive grocery store tub. It's important to set realistic expectations; this isn't high-quality ice cream. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this dessert place to anyone. Look elsewhere in Richmond for better quality and value.
Cute HK style dessert bar decorated with pink themes. Their taro milk is very tasty as well as the red bean dessert, though they sold out pineapple buns which I really like to try.
Would never recommend this place and will never be back! Poor quality desserts, clueless staff and pushy management. Wanted to cancel a part of our order due to the staff forgetting and their boss was pushing them to make us pay. The place it's self is nice and the staff are ok, but very lost... We asked what was in a dessert, but our waiter didn't know and had to ask multiple other people. We had a party of 4 we all ordered desserts but only 3 came, after 15 minutes the server came back and asked if we got our 4th desert? No, looking at the table, there are only 3 desserts. We asked if it had been made and if not to cancel the order. Server said he would ask his boss, and he returned and said they could not cancel the order and we still needed to pay for the dessert. We refused to pay for the 4th desert, and when we went to pay for the other 3 deserts, their boss said in Cantonese to pressure us into paying for the desert. The dessert was extremely disappointing, absolutely terrible. Ice in the dessert was chunky, there was an item substitution that we were not told about and their pineapple bun items were barely edible.I have heard this chain is great in HK and I hope they are nothing like this one cause this location is absolute garbage.
Mango season calls for a sweet mango dessert. Tasty and refreshing, this is the large size. However the mochi balls were too tough under cooked?. Hopefully it will be cooked better next time. Note: They provide a complimentary dessert for reviews but did specify 5 star reviews which is not the most ethical.
The level of service provided here is definitely commendable, and the interior design carries an air of romanticism that adds to the overall charm of the place. For those who have an affinity for all things mango, this establishment can only be described as a paradise. However, while the mango-flavored offerings are already a delight, one can't help but wonder about the possibility of elevating their aromatic sweetness to a more intense and captivating level. Imagine indulging in mango-infused treats where the flavor profile is not only robust but also exquisitely sweet, creating a truly immersive experience that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves a lasting impression. Furthermore, envision the joy of encountering small mochi treats that not only boast a chewy exterior but also possess an irresistibly soft and yielding interior. The idea of a delicate balance between textures is captivating, and if these petite mochi were to be taken to an even greater level of tenderness, it's easy to envision how this could elevate the overall culinary journey. And let's not forget the unique aspect of this establishment: its product variety distinguishes it from the stores found in Hong Kong. This distinctiveness adds a layer of exclusivity, allowing patrons to savor offerings that are unique to this location. In a world where experiences are becoming increasingly standardized, this differentiation is undoubtedly a point of appeal, setting this establishment apart as a destination that offers something truly special. In summation, while the present state of affairs is already quite promising, the prospect of enhancing the mango-centric offerings and refining the texture of the mochi, coupled with the distinctive product array, paints a picture of a dining experience that promises to be even more memorable and cherished.
